We are postponing our $100 giftcard to Pier1 due to technical issues. "It's not done till it's overdone". This saying was created by my mom so many years ago I can't remember a time that it wasn't used by all the women in my family.
It's generally a funny saying we use when we talk about decorating or birthdays, but "it's not done till it's overdone" is truly how my mom lives her life.
It's one of the lessons I value most that she's taught me.

If you're going to love someone, love them with your WHOLE heart, love them in a way the know they are honored and cherished.
.
If you're going to do something, put every single thing you have into and do it to the absolute best of your ability.
.
If you stand for something, stand steady and strong with an unwavering conviction no matter the cost or what others may think of you.
.
And if you're going to commit to something, see it through no matter what the circumstances are, how unpleasant it may be or how daunting of a task it may become.
.
My mother will forever be my greatest hero. She is everything in this life that I strive to be. .
Thank you @sandytate for being a true beacon of light in my life and teaching me all these things by not your words, but by your example. My love for you is deeper than the ocean.
