Raga Sehasothy - By my Guru's grace, I've created a new Raga and named it after him "Sehasothy".

Watch our Guru's reaction at the end! ❤️

All the graduates of Sangeethalayam Music Academy came together to retell the history of our beloved academy through music. But when our Guru graced the stage and sang a few lines, the entire audience was overwhelmed with emotions, eyes filled with tears, and hearts filled with love and gratitude. 🥹❤️

A memory to cherish for a lifetime.

I’m truly grateful for all the teachers, artists and participants who shared this experience with us. ❤️🧿

And especially to my guru Shri. Arumugam Sehasothy✨️🙏🏼
Thank you for always pushing me – before my students went on stage and even after.
Your presence, your energy, and your belief gave me so much strength, master. 💪🏼

A special thank you to the orchestra groups for creating such a supportive space on stage.
Not only on stage, but also behind the scenes – when I felt overwhelmed or lost my confidence, you stayed calm, lifted me up, and kept believing in us.

Your support and kind words meant so much to me and my students. 🤍

Grateful for all of you. ✨

This “Isaikkuyil 2026” award is a small blessing given by God for the good deeds of my father, the hard work of my mother, and the selfless guidance of my guru.
My heartfelt thanks to my teacher Mr. Arumugam Sehasothy Master @sangethalayam and the accompanying artists Mr. N. Ramakrishnan @mridram (Mridangam), Mr. S. Nirujan @s.nirujan (Violin), and Mr. S. Varnan @s3varnan (Morsing).

Thank you to everyone who has shown me love and supported me like a son, brother, and family.

My sincere gratitude to the International Institute of Tamil Arts and the respected judges who blessed me with this opportunity.

Even though this gold award is heavy, I will never carry pride in my heart. All success belongs to my parents, my guru, and God.

There is still a lot more to learn and achieve…

With love and humility,
Shrijan Sivathas

A few days ago, I had the honor of speaking at Kaanakuyil 2026, invited by the சுவிஸ் தமிழர் ஒருங்கிணைப்புக்குழு. Returning to this stage, where I was the title winner of Kaanakuyil 2017, made it extra special to share my journey and encourage the participants.

Even with a fever, standing there and sharing my story brought me so much joy, pride, and happiness.

A heartfelt thank you to Kavi Mama, who has supported me since childhood and proudly announced me on stage.

I’m deeply grateful to my parents, friends, and everyone who has believed in me — and most importantly, to my Guru, Jegasothy Master, Gowri Teacher, Niru Anna, and @sangethalayam . Being a student of Sangeethalayam has truly shaped who I am today.

I’m proud to have founded my own school, Saraswathi Sangeethalayam, which includes my Guru’s school name to honor him — because he is the reason I stand where I am today.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Sharangha ♥️
