#tomatoparty 3: The Ripening. Unequivocal hits: Eaterland tomato pie, @nytcooking tomato sherry cobbler, @smittenkitchen corn farro (with sungold confit accent), friends showing up with tomato gifts and coordinated earrings. Epic fail: FroBloMos (sorry MollzBallz). Fun facts: colored toothpicks bleed!

Over a decade of food ladiez dinners and many wine-fueled calendar invites later, another trip makes it out of the group chat ❤️

An amazing tomato-thon weekend to close out peak season 🍅

🍸 Clarified tomato-watermelon tequila cocktail @dcvagabond

🤩 The most amazing, multi-course, all-tomato dinner courtesy of @bylinemjf with tomato-infused martinis, a Vietnamese tomato salad I’m now obsessed with, homemade ice cream with sweet sungolds, and tons lot of tomato (and wine) fueled deliciousness in between.

🥩 Gordon fam dinner with steak a la @goleila202 and her equally delicious watermelon-tomato salad.

🍝 My favorite summer pasta: blistered sungold tomatoes tossed with zucchini and basil for the Dupont @freshfarmdc market.

There's an actually flattering photo of food ladiez with all of us looking at the camera and not making weird faces, courtesy of @sangisarma's Diwali party, and none of us can process it

Made from-scratch ramen for the first time last night, and it was a big success! I used the @nytcooking crock pot chicken and bok choy recipe. It’s definitely “starter ramen,” but lessons were learned, and I hope to graduate to serious ramen eventually. Also, I clearly need to work on my jammy egg! 🍜
