POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m back in my hometown.

Argentina was my first country in South America, and I want to share what I brought home from this journey.

I never imagined I would travel to the Southern Hemisphere, but thanks to the connection P LOCK created for us, I had the opportunity to visit Argentina.

At first I had some worries, but the moment I arrived, they disappeared.
Everyone welcomed us warmly, as if we had been friends or family for years.

I met so many amazing dancers and was deeply moved by their passion and energy.
After receiving so much from everyone, I wanted to give something back. That feeling made me challenge myself in a battle for the first time in almost 10 years.
My body wasn’t in perfect condition, but I danced to express my gratitude.

After my first battle, my knee could no longer handle another round.
I felt that the future belongs to the incredible younger dancers I met here.
So I wanted Artessana, who battled me, to move on. I wanted to support her battle with Dranzer myself.
I also believed YuKi, who is like an extension of myself, would show an incredible battle.
I felt I could pass the baton to their generation.
I’m sorry to P LOCK, the judge who chose me to advance, but I’m grateful I could express my gratitude through dance on that floor.

After talking with dancers from South America, I strongly felt:
“I should have come here much sooner.”
The LOCKING scene here has great energy and potential.
Thirty years ago, there was almost nothing in my hometown of Kagoshima.
The important thing is to keep going.
Because we kept going, our circle grew and eventually connected with the world.
I believe you can build an even bigger future.
Let’s keep pushing forward together! 🔥

Beyond language, countries, and distance, dance connects people.
I will keep dancing, and one day I will definitely come back.

Finally, thank you to everyone at @aka.funkers,
the organizers of ACTITUD FUNKY.
To all the GUEST JUDGES, MCs, DJs, and every dancer who took part.

And finally…
My dear friend, @p.lock_the_thunder.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this incredible experience with us.
My deepest gratitude and respect.
🙏❤️‍🔥🇦🇷🇯🇵
