Taipei film photo dump 📸

Used both the Nikon L35AD3 and my newly repaired LC-A+ that Dad bought me 20 years ago when lomo was a thing, haha!

It's such a beautiful little camera and I'm still trying to relearn how to guesstimate the focus distance on it, but looking at the pics now, I can't believe I wasted its potential all those years ago by cross-processing so much slide film. Lol what a hipster

At this point I suppose I just need to acknowledge that I'm really bad at Instagram and taking pictures, haha! 😅 (It's Josh's zero-social-media-presence mindset slooowly rubbing off on me.) We're flying home today — just waiting for our airport pickup by the pool of our cute boutique villa in Amalfi.

Italy with my family (and our new family photographer Joshy 😂) has been great fun — and hand to heart not at all as hectic as I originally thought it would be, considering we went to so many places in such a short span of time. Mom did an amazing job planning this holiday. 🥰 It was wonderful to revisit some places we'd been, and see some new ones along the way, and I'm glad I got to spend 12 days with the people I love most in the world.

I think our gradual weight gain is very visible in all our photos, haha, but what is life if not for living? Of course I'm going to eat all the cheese and pasta and gelati and tiramisu. 🍝🍕🍦🍋🍷

After five weeks away from Manila, I find myself actually looking forward to being home and being a hermit in my pyjamas again, except maybe for the occasional party. 👀 See you when I see you! 👯‍♀️

Wee Capri photo dump! 🏝️

Haven't really posted on main since Florence, though we've done lots since then, as seen in Stories. 😂

I didn't bother taking too many photos in Rome this time because we'd already done all the touristy bits last year with significantly less tourists, haha! So please just scroll back down to 2022 for that. ⬇️

I did take my family on a walking tour from our hotel to all the main spots, though, and took them to our favourite carbonara place — everyone agreed, best they've ever had. 🍝 Josh and I also got the chance to catch up with our friends and family in Rome. 🥰

So yeah I'm lazy to backtrack through everything, I'm just going to skip a bunch of stuff and go straight to posting today's adventure in Capri. ☀️🌊🚤🍋

The deep blue of the water here is so different from the deep blue of ours back home. Here it's also dark, but so vivid and bright in the sun? Almost like an Yves Klein blue — so beautiful! 💙

It's a little hard to believe we only have three more days in Italy, and then finally, back home to Manila after five weeks away. To be honest, the only thing I actually miss about home is lechon kawali. Otherwise, not really missing it at all because Europe has been so great!

Venice Day 2 Dump: Burano & Murano

IT WAS BOILING TODAY 🥵☀️ But it was such a gorgeous last full day in Venice, and there's no better way to drink all the beauty of it in than from a water taxi, zooming through the canals.

We had lunch in quaint and colourful Burano — best calamari fritti I've had probably in my life at @gattoneroburano — and then went to Murano to see some glassblowing. (Do they do glassblowing workshops in Manila because I am FASCINATED.)

Many thanks to my Boyfriend of Instagram and my Dad of Instagram for the pics today. 😂🥰 Off to Florence tomorrow! I haven't been there since 2005 either, so I'm so excited! 🤩

Surely I am now Sister of the Century for taking my kid brother on this @Arsenal #AFCStadiumTour. ⚽️ @thebelboy13, I hope you know that if you were a United fan I would die before taking you to Old Trafford lol.

Everyone at the Emirates Stadium was so lovely to us and it was a really fun experience; if only we could score tickets for the match on Thursday. And teleport to Anfield so I get a turn. 😂😭

About last night. A short walk to the Grand Place, then popped into La Rose Blanche for dinner. 🇧🇪 Gotta get used to snapping in crowded settings again, haha! 📸 Rediscovering photography has been such a joy. I hope when I finally try to rediscover writing, the feeling will be similar.

Rendered in black and white, I'd look like the first girl on Mars or the Moon. 🌙 The weather in Iceland is finally being as beautiful as Iceland itself, so we went snowmobiling on a glacier with @arcanumiceland this morning. ❄️ Mikey drove like a crazy person. It was awesome.
