Biomechanics. Movement. Explosiveness.

Different sports. Different movements. Different demands.

But performance always comes back to the same question: how efficiently can your body produce, absorb, and redirect force?

We don’t train athletes to simply copy their sport in the gym.

We train the physical qualities behind the movement: acceleration, deceleration, rotation, stability, reaction, and explosive force.

Then we let the athlete transfer those qualities to the field, court, or course.

Build the movement. Develop the athlete. Let the sport happen.

If you’re ready to move better, become more explosive, and take your performance to another level — come train with us.

📩 DM us to start training.

Balance is something we work on quite often with our athletes, but rarely in isolation.

We can add upper-body movements, rotation, resistance, visual tasks, reaction drills or change the surface to create different challenges. It all depends on the athlete and what we want from the exercise.

In sports, losing balance is normal. The important part is how quickly the athlete can adjust the body, regain control and continue the movement.

That’s why we like to keep changing the stimulus and progressively bring these exercises closer to situations the athlete will actually face in their sport.

Fridays look a little different at Costa Performance.

While the rest of the week is dedicated to building strength, power, speed, and conditioning, Fridays are about preparing the body for what’s next.

For many of our junior tennis players, tournaments happen on the weekends. That makes Friday the perfect time to reduce accumulated fatigue, restore mobility, improve tissue quality, and leave the gym feeling fresh, not exhausted.

Recovery isn’t taking a day off.

It’s giving your body exactly what it needs to perform when it matters most.

The best athletes don’t just train hard.

They recover with the same intention they bring to every workout.

Train hard. Recover smarter. Compete better.

Great athletes aren’t built by repeating the same workout every day.

They develop by being exposed to different challenges, different ways of moving, and different ways of thinking.

At Costa Performance, one of our greatest strengths is the diversity of our coaching team. Every coach brings a unique background, different experiences, and a different perspective on performance. That allows us to create training sessions that are constantly evolving, keeping athletes engaged while exposing them to a wide variety of physical and cognitive stimuli.

The goal isn’t to make every session harder.

It’s to make every session more meaningful.

Because the more movement strategies an athlete develops, the better prepared they are to adapt, perform under pressure, and stay healthy throughout the season.

Performance isn’t built through repetition alone.

It’s built by challenging the body, and the mind, in different ways.

Athletic performance is never built on just one quality.

Speed without control. Strength without movement. Power without balance.

None of these will take an athlete to their full potential.

At Costa Performance, every session is designed to develop the complete athlete. Footwork, agility, acceleration, deceleration, explosive power, plyometrics, coordination, mobility, strength and resilience all work together. Because that’s how sport happens.

There are no shortcuts. The best performances are built by consistently improving every piece of the puzzle.

Whether you’re chasing a college scholarship, competing professionally, or simply wanting to move and perform better, the process is the same: train with purpose.

Come experience what performance training should feel like.
The difference isn’t one drill. It’s the system behind every session.

Summer is in full swing, and so are we.

From private sessions to small group training, we’ve had athletes from all over joining us for their summer performance blocks while continuing to work with the athletes who train with us year-round.

Every session is an opportunity to move better, get stronger, improve speed, and prepare for what’s ahead. The energy in the gym has been incredible, and we’re just getting started.

If you’re spending your summer in South Florida and want to make the most of your training, we’ll see you at Costa Performance.
