Found a lot of cool stuff once again on insta that I want to share with you incase you have not seen it 🤗

Postings by @samsoloboardgames @dice.and.daggers @viev.boardgames @pink_meeple @saraalwaysloses @boardgamesandbites @alwaysplayblue @theeoperaboardgamer @goodgamefairplay @meeple.mike @kingandthepawn.games @seriousgeorgeboardgames @_mestni_spielt_

Seen this around a lot lately. It looks so adorable with the the critters. Hopefully I will have the chance to try it out.

In Upside Town you build towers with magnetic little pieces which you can possibly also turn upside down. You can also play it solo.

I saw this on my feed and still don't know what it was. It had no info. But it looked cute 😅

I've seen this so many times and I am so sad that it is not solo cause I really liked what I saw of it so far.

Mitch got this very cool art made from a board of his favorite game Hero Quest. I want one with Final Girl 😂

This one looked so good to me. But I lost track if I missed the gamefound or is it available to buy?

Jen got in a fight with Mort and obviously lost it 😅 I love seeing people with Jen 😍

I would also love to play this one. But I heard it takes up to several hours to play and I think I wouldn't be able to that. Maybe I should start with the videogame?

Evenglow is so high up on my Spiel Essen List. I really hope that I can grab a copy it's such a cosy and puzzly game.

Best news of the week was that Alex is back and she showed us a review of Tulip Season 🥰

If this doesn't look whimsical then I don't know what does.

Here is a review of dark RPG.

This one caught my eye immediately. I love little store games especially if it contains magic.

Back in June (which feels like an age ago now!) we were all challenged to recreate the Cucumber & Arrr-ugula Sandwich from Pirates of the High Tea (@pinkhawkgames).

For this I got a lovely seeded sourdough loaf, layered on the crisp cucumber and fresh rocket (aka arugula), but to give it a little sing I added in some homemade bread and butter pickles - made by our friend with her home grown cucumbers and onions. it was crisp and refreshing and the perfect summer sandwich 💚

Don’t forget to check out the yummy sandwiches by all the other creators:

Diesen Monat stand das "Cucumber and ARRR-ugula Sandwich" auf dem Menü. 🥒🥪

This month's recipe was the "Cucumber and ARRR-ugula Sandwich" from "Pirates of the High Teas", chosen by @saraalwaysloses. 🥒🥪

It's probably not a combination we would have picked ourselves, but with the current summer temperatures it turned out to be a wonderfully light and refreshing sandwich.

As always, it's so much fun to see all the creative interpretations of the recipe from the community. We can't wait to see what next month has in store! 💚

I was invited by @saraalwaysloses to her monthly collaboration series: Shelf to table where we pick a starter, main course and finisher to a certain theme from each others board game collection.
The theme we chose this time, definitely matching the german weather here right now, is: Summer Sun

🏞️ Starter: Parks Roll&Hike
A light and fun roll&write, where we hike through different national parks.

⛱️ Main course: Santa Monica
Here we build our beach by drafting cards to create the most appealing beach for visitors.

🐝 Finisher: Buzzin' Picnic
In this fun card game we collect cute insects during a picnic, but have to drive away annoying flies and wasps from our picnic.

I loved the games Sara picked for my summer day!
But to be honest germany has 35° right now and I don't even want to leave the house...
If it was like 10 degrees lower on a beautiful sunny day, I would be up for all these activities and games!
Thank you so much for having me Sara! ☀️

**”Pink Cake” inspired by Stardew Valley the board game ** This challenge has us combining our board game passions with our loving to cook! We had the busiest month ever with a lot of ups and downs and we are pushing through. Thanks for all the support!

My sister was in town for my aunts funeral and it was her birthday so we got her the celebration cake she gets at home for special events. (No we didn’t bake or cook this month but we got the next best thing from @touslesjours_vb and displayed it next to “Cupcake Empire” @ludonovajuegos @starboardgames . We look forward to our busy lives slowing down so we can play this!

The community hashtag #boardgamerecipes
ran by @saraalwaysloses (thanks for helping out!) gives us reason to cook and geek out about a game that is beloved in the group. (We need to get it! )

It’s time for another #mysterymonday🎲 and this time the theme is “Educate” as chosen by @saraalwaysloses
I’ve gone for this rather overlooked gem in which you will need to educate your workers with wax seals gained from the academy to improve their actions while you continue your voyage of research and discovery.

Last weeks was of course the magnificent, tiptop, excellent, you really must try it, bar raising excellence that is The Old Kings Crown from Eerie Idol @theoldkingscrown

Community hashtag brought to us by the delicious @obsessedwithboardgames and @justthreemeeple

EDUCATE chosen by @saraalwaysloses

This game educates you on probably the most important topic the world is facing today (it’s depressing!) - what is the game?

Last week for Scoundrels and Scallywags I used Fort. A post that entered the stratosphere (for me, anyway) at the point @ledergames reposted it!
