10/10 do NOT recommend tearing your entire knee apart no mercy. 1000000/10 recommend spending your recovery time surrounded by love, family, friends, and everything that helps you see the bright spots🌈💫💖🦋🌷☀️

i've never been torn from dance (and life) in such an abrupt & long-term fashion, and i would be lying if i said it didn't still hurt real real bad both physically and mentally. but, since march, i have found joy in so many other ways! i've been able to be there for my family, seen friends old and new, dilly-dallied, become a master of tasks, and rekindled my love of being an audience member. i'm in the last phase of recovery now (!!!!) and i can't wait to get back to doing what i love. God is stillllllllllll good.
