It’s finally time for my 2025 appreciation post :) I look back on this last year with such gratitude! I accomplished things I have been dreaming of doing my entire life: I released my DEBUT ALBUM, I established my practice as a vocal coach and music teacher, I performed internationally, I slept (almost) every night on a full size mattress, I got a new therapist, and I think I finally understand LA’s geography via mastering its bus routes!

In the post grad abyss, I was scared my community would dwindle and music would slip from my life, but my connection to both has actually strengthened. Without the structure and opportunities school provides, I have been learning to get my own gigs, find my voice as an artist, and create my own routine of creativity and practice. This made each one of my performances this year just that much more special. Here are some of my favorite musical moments from this year. (It wouldn’t let me tag everyone but I promise I love you all!!!)

1) performing in CHINA and getting to reconnect with some freakin awesome people and musicians

2)finishing my album with Eva in the studioooo

3) performing with Sarah, Tai, and Raina and an awesomely inspiring anti ice benefit at scribble

4) performing at the hotel cafe for the first time ever

5) singing this beautiful song in Ladino with my loves liv and raina

6) playing klezmer and dancing with a group of holocaust survivors with raina and sam

7) studio session with these amazing singers for the incredible Doe Paoro

8) Pensacola at my ALBUM RELEASE SHOW with my banddddd

9) Djelm Djelm at the Illuminate Festival at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center

10) Paul in the Bay with Henry 🥹🥹

11) Playing so many incredible markets this year including @melrosetradingpost @lakewoodfunfridays @mosaiqcreative @3rdstreetpromenade

12) comical on stage pov of me and Raina playing background music at a beautiful wedding of a dear friend’s sister (a week after I had a big ol’ breakup lol)

13) And china again cuz whaaaat that was sooo fun

Thank you to everybody in my life new and old! Thank you for being a light in this strange and tragic and beautiful world we live in.
