A YEAR OF JEWISH JOY✨

Today, we gathered with @rebekahlowin, the lifestyle expert, author, and creative force often called the Jewish Martha Stewart, for a special event celebrating her new cookbook, A Year of Jewish Joy. Known for making Jewish traditions feel whimsical, approachable, and meaningful, Rebekah inspires readers to bring more ritual, celebration, and joy into everyday life through food and entertaining.

The event included a lively discussion with Westport Lifestyle editor, @saragayneslevy, a food styling demonstration and guests even got hands-on creating their own Shabbat boards to take home!

🍽️ The afternoon was made even more special with catering by @hiambawestport, the new Westport cafe and hummus shop led by chef @billtaibe, our October cover star!

A special thank you to our event sponsors, @pjlibraryct and @federationshalomct, for helping bring this beautiful celebration of Jewish culture, tradition, and community to life. 💙 #WestportLifestyle

🍕 Three concepts, one passionate entrepreneur. Meet @_dimitri.__, the young visionary behind Westport’s Pizza Lyfe, Lyfe Cafe, and Sweet Lyfe!

A restaurant industry veteran since childhood, Dimitri was scrubbing mussels at age 10 and opened his first vegan eatery, Organika, at just 19. Today, at 29, he’s bringing his vision to Westport through sourdough, whole-grain pizza crusts; specialty coffee and breakfast favorites; and authentic Greek-style frozen yogurt made in-house.

Pizza Lyfe has earned Westport Lifestyle’s Readers’ Choice award for Best Pizza three years running, while Lyfe Cafe and Sweet Lyfe continue to put their own stamp on the local food scene.

Behind it all is a hands-on approach, a commitment to quality, and a genuine desire to give customers what they want. For Dimitri, success means hearing that someone enjoyed all three spots in a single day: breakfast at Lyfe Cafe, dinner at Pizza Lyfe, and dessert at Sweet Lyfe. ❤️

Discover Dimitri’s journey, the story behind the name Pizza Lyfe, and how he’s building a Westport food destination in our latest issue of #WestportLifestyle. #linkinbio

💕 Fashion with a purpose. An evening of strength, style, and solidarity!

Last night’s @pinkaidorg Fashion Show fundraiser at @mitchellstores brought the community together for an inspiring evening with breast cancer warriors taking center stage as models wearing @veronicabeard in a powerful reminder of courage, resilience, and the power of community. ✨

The evening featured a live auction, words from @mstinaknowles (yes, the incredible mother of Beyoncé and Solange!), and MC @harrysanta, making for a night filled with heart and impact.

A special thank you to @blowdry_gt for donating hairstyling for the models and @marciaseldencatering for sponsoring the evening’s catering. 💗

An unforgettable night proving that fashion can do so much more than make a statement. It can make a difference. #WestportLifestyle

Just What the Doctor Ordered 🍪

From Chicago restaurant marketing to NYC modeling to Fairfield County food influencer and baker, Dan Reardon’s journey to @drs_ordersbakingco has been anything but ordinary.

What started as a lifelong love of cooking, inspired by his Italian family and hours watching Martha, Rachael and Ina, eventually became DRs. Orders Baking Co, a growing small-batch bakery known for its cookies, cakes, brownies, gift boxes and more. But today, @drs_ordersbakingco is so much more than baked goods. Dan has become a trusted voice for discovering the best bites across Fairfield County and beyond, with his restaurant reviews and food recommendations regularly making a real impact on local businesses. Case in point: after he posted about the chicken Caesar wrap at Walter Stewart’s Market, the shop sold 80 wraps in the following 24 hours. 👀

Earlier this year, Dan took his love of cooking a step further with a collaboration at The Whelk and Massi Co, creating Italian-inspired dishes alongside Chef Zach Hinman, with proceeds benefiting Westport-based @homeswithhope. ❤️

For Dan, it all comes back to one thing: good food and community. “This is home now. I love this community, and I love being a part of it.”

Curious how a Chicago restaurant kid, NYC model, home baker and food lover became one of Fairfield County’s go-to voices for what to eat? Get to know the story behind DRs. Orders, the man behind the cookies, and the viral food reviews putting local restaurants on the map in this month’s issue of #WestportLifestyle. #linkinbio

A little Candy Riot in the October issue of @westportlifestyle, written by the beautiful @saragayneslevy 🍬

We started Candy Riot because buying candy should be as fun - and as delicious - as eating it. We curate candy without artificial dyes, made with real fruit juice and colors from fruits and vegetables. Our fav part is watching people try it and realize it actually tastes and smells like the flavor it’s supposed to be.

Seeing our story in these pages - and feeling how warmly this community has welcomed us - means so much.

Thank you for cheering us on and making room for our little riot. 🤍
