Healing begins where grace meets the heart🤍
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
September, mostly.

Some highlights from the month + things I’ve been excited about lately:

• Photographed a lot of cool things

• Started feeling a little more confident about my surfing!!! Things are slowly starting to click.

• Saw some absolutely crazy sunsets + two really beautiful sunrises.

• Went to the pumpkin patch with friends.

• Found a little hidden area at my beach with tables and chairs, and I’m now very excited to work there before and after surfing!

• One of my best friends got married :)

• Tried a bunch of new restaurants and ate a lot of really good food.

• Went on a lot of rainy day photo walks, which are my favorite kind of photo walks :)

• Took an unreasonable number of pictures of the moon. None of them do it justice, but I’m still glad I took them because they help me remember what it felt like to see it in person.

• went on so many other little adventures in between.

I really liked September.

I really love making these so much. 🥹 They’ve become such a fun way for me to look back on little days in my life, and it really means a lot that I get to share them with you guys, too. Thank you for coming along. 🩵

Also! The first photo of me was taken by @simplysanger.photography , and the photo on slide 5 was taken by @_meadia . My favorite surf bikini in that shot was also designed by my lovely friend @coquinaswim . 🌊🥹

I am crap at surfing.

I am obsessed with it anyway.

I love the vibe. I love photographing it. I love paddling out with my friends and chatting on our boards way out in the water, then just letting the waves carry us back in whenever we’re ready. I love feeling like I’m a part of the sea.

I don’t really have anything important to say here today. I guess this is just an appreciation post, of sorts, for the first sport I’ve ever actually liked.

It recently hit me that I’m coming up on 7 years of living in Florida, which honestly feels impossible.

So much life has happened in that time, but at the same time, I feel like I just got here.

I’ve always been drawn to the tropics. Growing up, my room had fake palm trees, ocean-colored walls, and vision boards covered in beaches and hibiscus flowers long before I ever lived near any of them. I think some part of me always knew this kind of environment would feel inspiring to me creatively.

And while these photos don’t even fully capture what Florida feels like to me yet — especially because I’ve only recently started bringing my camera into everyday life — they do feel like little pieces of the version of Florida I’ve come to love most. Surfing at sunrise. Rainy afternoons. Pool-side evenings. Tropical colors. Golden light. Central Florida in-between moments.

The skier is bluer here than anywhere else I’ve ever seen.

Feeling really grateful lately for the life God has built for me here.🌺

Friends who look like main characters 🥹✨

From hiking through Yellowstone, to learning to surf together, to creative projects, to beautiful conversations over home-cooked meals, this summer has been filled with sacred little moments shared with the most beautiful souls. These are just a few glimpses into the friendships I’m so grateful God has placed in my life—each one a reminder of His goodness, creativity, and kindness.

Being able to capture these memories through my lens is one of my greatest honors.

Here’s to the magic of ordinary days made extraordinary by the people we share them with.

My first roll of film.
My favorite local coffee shop.
This one’s special. 🥹☕📷

A few months ago, I had the honor of capturing Axum Coffee—a place that’s meant so much to my story. I finally got the scans back from my very first roll of 35mm, and seeing these dreamy little moments frozen in time… it’s magic. Grateful for this cozy space, for film photography, and for the sweet reminder that beauty is always hiding in the quiet corners of our everyday.✨

Thank you @bellowsfilmlab for scanning and developing with such care. 🖤

There’s something about @axumcoffee that feels like stepping into a little daydream. 🌿☀️ From the sunlit corners to the tropical textures and the kind-hearted faces behind the counter, every detail invites you to slow down and soak it all in.

But what makes Axum even more special is the heart behind the coffee. Inspired by a trip to Axum, Ethiopia, this coffee shop was founded on a dream: to create a gathering place that sparks meaningful connection and invites people into something bigger than themselves — one cup at a time. 💛

I’ve been leaning into creating more cinematic visuals lately, and cozy, community-rooted spaces like this make it so easy to bring that vision to life. ✨

Where should I film next?

✨ A little downtown daydream ✨

Winter Garden has such a quiet kind of charm — the kind that makes you want to slow down, take the long way, and notice everything.

It was the perfect place to practice cinematic filming with my Osmo Pocket 3, and @saragraber96 was the most graceful, sunshiney muse I could’ve asked for 🩵
