the past couple weeks were spent trading screen time for family time, deadlines for laughter, & documenting life for living it ☀️ • i’ve realized that stepping away makes me feel untethered. caught between the desire for space & the craving for connection, i sometimes confuse the discomfort of slowing down for falling behind. maybe it’s just stepping outside my normal rhythm & learning to trust that i don’t have to keep up to stay connected. • my intention for this trip was to be present & so with that on my heart, i leaned in. • it’s not often i get to see my family so i wanted to soak up the short time we had together. we had some wind & rain, but we made the most of it! our days were full, our bellies were full, & {most importantly} our hearts were full💞 • one of the sweetest parts was playing with my nieces & nephew. every time i see them, they grow a lil more, change a lil more, become a lil more themselves. it’s a beautiful reminder of how quickly life moves & to cherish these moments. • being far away from family isn’t easy. i sometimes find myself feeling like i’m missing out, wondering if i’m as connected as they are, & even doubtful about where my own path is leading. but each time we come together, i am reminded that love doesn’t disappear with distance & that everyone’s timeline is divine. • it’s okay to take breaks to recalibrate & reconnect. not every meaningful moment needs to be shared online in real time. sometimes the most important thing is simply being where we are and not trying to make something of everything. • grateful for family, for slow mornings, for delicious food, for a change in scenery, & for the chance to return with a sense of renewal 🌊 • happy to be home :))

having my momma around this past week only makes me miss her more! it was an absolute treat having her company & all i can say is i’m grateful🌞🌼✨ • it’s hard some days not being close to my fam & good friends, but i try to keep everyone’s spirit in my heart🩵 it feels heavy some days more than others, the longing to be back with people that feel like home. guess that means i’m due for a visit back to ky soon!!🤪 • being your daughter is a gift i don’t take for granted @sarah1498walker . thank you for giving me this beautiful life & for helping me grow🌱 • i learned lots from you, all shaping me into who i am. you embody what it means to love without limits, to give without reason, & to care without expectation. • i thank God for you everyday, not just today. & thank you to all the other badass mothers out there that keep this world turnin’ & are the glue that keeps us together. praying for those who are hearts are hurting not having their moms to lean on🙏

heyaaa friends👋 a lil update on life :)) • in the midst of the off season, i’ve been taking full advantage of this down time & intentional about slowing down. while it’s felt very nourishing to crawl into this cocoon phase, i’ve also been spreading my wings while traveling🦋 • the holidays were very grounding going back to Kentucky to visit la familia. these hammered bracelets were gifted to all da ladies & were a hit✨ they are made of copper using a firescale technique leaving a mesmerizing metallic, iridescent finish {felt like i was hammering in my sleep by the time i finished all of them} 🫠 i have to admit… in a sense it did feel like a good release! i finished them off with wrapping some oxidized brass wire around the band & sprinkling a few opal-colored gems on each. i haven’t quite perfected shape or mastered exact sizing just yet, but overall very pleased with how they all turned out & am thinking these {or something similar} will be available to shop sometime this spring🛍️ • since then, i visited Puerto Rico for the first time with some friends & enjoyed switching up the scenery. the vibe & views there were stunning🩵 we had a few sea glass & shell fanatics in our gang so it was fun to share the excitement collecting our treasures together🐚 some of the girlies on the trip were rocking their Soulshine drips {mermaid pics coming soooon}🧜‍♀️ i was good about being in the moment, but not so good about snapping shots of da bling hehe😅 but hey, it happens… we can’t always be doing & creating! sometimes, we need to just be & enjoy. there is beauty in the balance🙌 • since being back in my studio, i’ve been rearranging & organizing to feel inspired again. however, i will be packing my bags again next week for a ski trip, Costa Rica, then Panama for the month of February going into March. my sister’s baby is due in March {yayayay!!!} so i plan to head back to Kentucky to welcome the new baby girl👶 • all of this to say, i plan to keep sharing & connecting on IG/FB but won’t be available to ship out any orders from February-mid March. i will be updating this on the website as well. if you have any special requests from now until then, shoot me a dm🫶☮️
