Just last weekend, I had the honor of graduating from one of the best schools in the world 🐊❤️

“i want to be defined by the things that I love” a quote that will forever remind me of the unique home that the University of Florida became over the past four years. As I close this chapter of my life, my heart is filled with so much gratitude for every person, every obstacle, and every experience that has shaped me along the way. I will always look back at these memories with immense gratitude to have met some of the most loving, compassionate people, places filled with my favorite memories and special moments that I will forever cherish. No words could truly do these past four years justice or capture how much these experiences mean to me, and i’ll forever be indebted to a town just five hours away that bleeds orange and blue. Thank you @uflorida and to the next adventure that awaits! 🧡💙

@managers+ advisors: Thank you for always being a text away and meeting each member of OT with nothing but patience, grace and understanding. I truly don’t know what lucky star we wished upon to get such courageous and brave leaders like the unique group you all are. Thank you especially @sarah4on for putting up with my horrible jokes and for turning mondays at 1:30pm into my favorite time of the week and for showing up year after year to help college students be a part of one of the best UF traditions of all time. 🐊❤️

OT26: I love the way we show up for each other. Thank you for all the countless hours, meetings, and lack of sleep you have given to fighting for a cause so much greater than yourselves. You are 17 of the most hardworking people I have ever met and am so proud to know.

For the future. For the families. For All The Right Reasons.

Eight years ago I stepped foot into my high school cafeteria for my very first Dance Marathon. I had no idea that single decision would become the best one I have ever made.

That day, I unknowingly chose purpose and passion. I picked up the pen and started writing this chapter. I chose something that would shape me into who I am today. I chose something that changes you forever.

This year we wrote over a million dollars’ worth ($1.35 million, to be exact) of new chapters, second chances, and hope for the next generation.

Dance Marathon at the University of Florida has been more than an organization. It has been a promise. A promise to show up. To Choose Change. To Imagine The Day. To Fight For More. To never stop believing in a future where no child wears a hospital band.

Over the past year, we made the promise to pick up the pen and write a new story for the future. A story full of more birthdays, milestones, and memories. A future where kids get to experience a childhood full of playdates, laughter, love and light.

To OT 25: I am so proud of each and every one of you. The dedication you have poured into this organization is like no other. It’s been an honor to work alongside you and watch you lead with such passion. I am eternally grateful for you all.

To the Managers, we did it!
Thank you for sticking by me through this past year. There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for you all. I would not trade the sleepless nights, early mornings, or long meetings for the world. This has truly been the best thing I’ve ever done and I’m so glad it was with you by my side. There is no me without you 🤍🤍

To @tara.tovkach , @sarah4on , @sophia.bailoni , thank you, thank you, thank you. Not sure how I would have survived this year without the best advisors ever. Thank you for trusting me (even if it was reluctant), believing in me, and pushing me to succeed. $1.35 million would not have been possible without your love, guidance, and support.

1,351,566.99 miracles made. There are truly no words to explain the feelings felt in these photos and the immense pride we have to stand behind that number.

To the members of DM’25, you showed up, showed out, and did the damn thing. Thank you for believing in a cause so much bigger than yourself and knowing that even in college we can have a hand in changing the world. YOU are the reason this many miracles happened.

To OT’25, we did it! The hours spent brainstorming, workshopping, and starting from scratch were so worth it, even though it was so hard in the moment. I am so proud to share that stage with 19 of the hardest working leaders I know.

To the Managers, this thank you is the hardest because I could write a book. Thank you for the long nights and even longer days, being the biggest cheerleaders I know, and for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. I am who I am today because of the 4 of you, you’ve changed my life for the better.

I am so blessed to be able to have had the honor of taking on this role and watching DM at UF grow from the inside out. I have always seen the miracles first hand, but watching them happen from a front row seat this year has been nothing short of an inspiration. I love @dmatuf with my whole heart forever and ever.

Eight years ago, I signed up for something I didn’t fully understand. I just knew I wanted to make a difference. I had no idea then just how much Dance Marathon would change my life. What began as a small step turned into a journey that shaped me in ways I’ll never be able to fully express. And somewhere along the way, I found a version of myself I’m proud of.

I’ve learned how to lead, how to stay grounded in chaos, how to face challenges with heart and resilience, and how to love something so deeply that it breaks your heart in the best way when it ends. I’ve felt the passion of late nights and early mornings, of laughing until I cried, of holding hands during the hard moments, and of pushing past limits I never thought possible.

This movement raised me. It taught me how to fight for what matters, how to chase progress, and how to believe in the impossible. I’ve grown alongside some of the most passionate, driven, and selfless people I’ve ever known, and I will never take that for granted.

Dance Marathon has been the greatest honor of my life. Eight years. A lifetime of memories. And the chance to #writethestory

Thank you @_carolineeaton @dylanaverysiegel and @dawson.geller for being the best Operations group I could have asked for this year. I couldn’t have imagined a better team to share this with❤️
