SOPHOMORE YEAR!! … What a CRAZY year it has been, y’all… If you would’ve told me a year ago that not only would I be living in a cottage, but ALSO switching my major to Biology with a Chemistry minor, I would’ve told you you were crazy. This year has been one of the best and one of the hardest years of my life. This year I learned what it’s like to have a deep, consistent relationship with God, and this year I also learned that God doesn’t mess around 💀. Every time someone asks me what this year has meant to me, I always say it’s been a year of change. At the beginning of the year, I asked God to prune my life of anything that didn’t serve Him or me anymore… and BOY DID HE. What’s hard in the moment, God always turns into something good. He loves us so much that sometimes He lets us hurt so we can grow into the person He’s calling us to be. Along the way, I’ve made friendships I’ll carry with me through this next season, and I’m so thankful for the people who have walked with me through all the transition. A lot of this year was saying goodbye: to old habits, old mindsets, and old lifestyles. But I’ve learned that God’s plan is so much bigger than mine. He’s already shown me He has SO MUCH in store. All He asks is for complete obedience, to trust His plan, and to stop fighting so hard to hold onto the things He’s asking me to let go of. Anyways… I’m closing this chapter of my life and opening a brand new one, and I seriously can’t wait. ❤️🧬 2025–2026

Freshman year💖 2 Timothy 3:14-15 “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”

Sophomore year!!! My word for this year is gratitude. What I have learned is that life is hard, but God is still good and faithful. He is still loving and forgiving. His grace is never-ending, and His mercies are new every day. Having a heart of gratitude has helped me more than anything this past year. I’m so thankful to have such a wonderful community of Christ-centered friends, and I’m so grateful to have had them by my side. TYJ for the memories and new friendships made this year!! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! … Swipe to the end for a (not so fun) surprise from fall semester😆

Every milestone tells a story, and I’m so grateful to capture moments like this one!! Celebrating such a special season, congrats to this incredible senior!! 🎓✨ - - - Meet Krislyn!! She is graduating as the Valedictorian of Foundations Christian Academy’s Class of 2026. Krislyn is someone who values her faith, puts her heart into everything she does, and continues to grow into who God has called her to be!✨ She has always had a love for learning (especially math) and even completed dual enrollment courses while in high school. Krislyn loves working with preschoolers and is excited to see where God leads her next. Through every challenge, she continues to show resilience, faith, and grace. Everyone show Krislyn some love as she steps into this next chapter! 💛 “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” – Revelation 22:21

2026 Graduate I’m so thankful for all the memories I’ve made at the University of Mobile over the past few years! I’ve met people who have become lifelong friends, walked through the ups and downs with me, and seen God move in ways I never could have imagined. Even through every challenge, late night, and unexpected season, God remained faithful. Looking back to freshman year of college, and not being able to attend here. I’m and so grateful that He has allowed my dream of attending UM to become a reality. The memories and people here will always hold such a special place in my heart!
