Almost three weeks have passed since the cherry on top, and we’ve only just about had enough rest, recuperation, and reflection to string together a few sentences - none of which will come close to expressing the immense love and gratitude we feel for sharing the most amazing, yet fleeting, past six months with each and every one of you.

It’s crazy how great people and great music can completely transform an empty unit between Greggs and Home Bargains on King Street. With a little help from an advice wall courtesy of the great @faycarlosbrown & @rufdug ‘s exquisite incense collection, not to mention poems in portaloos to compensate for the lack of plumbing. Over the past six months, we’ve had everything — from the birth of Dub Techno Chess @dtcc___, to making fridge magnets with @thefoldmcr, a puzzle chicken ?¿ courtesy of the one and only jigsaw champion @abigailebarker, cosy listening parties hosted by @homingpigeon___ . Oh yeah and plenty of legendary parties with an array of legendary promoters!

But all good things need time to rest. This is not the end, we promise.

We’ve got a lot of thanks to give. Firstly, a huge thank you to @stretfordtowncentre for trusting us and looking after us so well. It means everything to be given a space where real communities can come together and thrive - where people can dance, hold each other, and truly let go.

To everyone who kept things running week in, week out: Dean (keeping the portaloos luxury by name and nature); Ian from WDS and Justin from @cloudwaterbrew (keeping our fridges stocked); Mike (our comforting presence on the door and all-round legend); every member of @base_security ; and every single helping pair of hands.

To @unikclothingltd for the amazing collaboration, to @steamradiomcr for soundtracking our Friday mornings, to every promoter, artist, and DJ who brought life into the space, to everyone who left a piece of advice — and of course to everyone who gave it their all on the dance floor.

We hope you know how truly valued you are, and how special these times have been. We will cherish every single silly second forever.
