♥️Hey Muswell Hillbillies ♥️

Are you sad because you missed out on visiting some of the artists over @openstudiosmhap weekend? 😭

Were you busy hosting your own exhibition in your own house? 😄

Did you forget all about it??? 🙄

Well fear no more! At Muswell Hill Books & Parlour we were very lucky to host four incredibly talented artists over the weekend, but as is in keeping with all our exhibitions, their incredible works will remain on the walls for a further two weeks - so you still have time to come and buy something beautiful for your walls. Opening times vary during the week, so it’s best to call the shop and check when you know when you want to visit on:

📞020 3971 8066

On Saturday 17th October however, the exhibition will be open to the public again for the whole day!! In the shape of the Parlour Gallery Bar 🥂🍻🍷

Come down between 10-6 on Saturday 17th December, order a coffee or drink at the desk, get yourself a book, then relax in the Parlour Gallery Bar and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you…

Art from the ferociously talented @jennawaldren @sarahelliot74 @valeriya.y_art should definitely be enjoyed for more than just a weekend

Crouch End artist Sarah Elliot is back at Highgate Art Fair this November with her colourful and playful celebration of the natural world.

Working from her garden studio, Sarah draws inspiration from folk art, textiles and her background in children’s publishing.

Her still lifes begin with observational drawings before evolving through colour, pattern and form using acrylic, watercolour, gouache, pen, pencil, pastel and collage. More recently, ceramic animals and plates have also found their way into her practice.

Having exhibited at HAF in 2025, we’re looking forward to seeing what Sarah brings back this year.
