I really enjoyed today, thank you @sarahhall____ & @olive_ool_ for coming back 💕 I also need a young person to teach me how to make reels because I’ve got no clue how to do this. #b_u_s_h_w_o_m_a_n_ #stickandpoke #melbournetattoo

Think I finally found my voice for this new tune. Here’s a little run through with sexy @sarahhall____ doing her best Scarlet Rivera impersonation. What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Next gig with the Owls is on March 15 at @thetotehotel with @theflickeringstars

Rick Rubin was kind enough to show up to the Owls recording last weekend in the form of a grasshopper and said “that’s really, really great guys”. Yeah more Owls tunes coming soon

Two new tracks by the Owls are available now on all streaming platforms.
The first track ‘Turn To You’ is a retake on a tune originally recorded with the MoonMen at Matt Walker’s back in 2015. It’s one of those songs that can work in many ways I think because of it’s simplicity, and this one’s spot on. First take, great feel, minimal overdubs required, a great performance by the whole band.
The second track is a new tune, penned over a secluded few days in Venus Bay. It’s a song of vivid reflection and introspection, one for healing, one for endings and new beginnings, kind of juxtaposed by some JJ Cale vibes going on.
If you’re in Melbourne, we’ll be launching these singles at a special show in the beautiful Merri Creek Tavern band room on August 11. Tickets are available at https://events.humanitix.com/the-owls-single-launch

Thanks for your support everyone.
Love, Sean and the Owls

80 Minutes NoInterval “brilliantly conceived and executed with only a few basic props. Some of the lines are absolutely sensational – pointed and hilarious. The play lurches from the absurd to the ridiculous. The audience lapped up the prose; even with no conception where the play is heading”
