Rewild and Free is all about connecting to nature. And food is a big part of that. Thanks to the amazing Lucy ( aka @lucythewildcooke ), we spent a day hunting for natural treasures. Do you know there’s a seaweed called Pelvetia canaliculata (can-i-lic-u-lata)? Just one of the many amazing facts Lucy shared with us onboard the Lady of Avenel. After an informative chat on board, we lubed up, suited up and jumped in to forage to see what the abundant seas of Scotland could provide. We found dulses, scallops, kelp, sea urchins, sea lettuce and many other treasures, which were prepared and eaten alongside our foraged feast.

Rewild and Free is a trip about epic adventures, Scottish freediving, sailing a tall ship and feeling the salty lure of the Wild West coast of Scotland. But it is also a trip about friendship, community, togetherness, cold water, silliness, depth, good food, good chats and everything else in between. If you want to join the magic next year, we are now taking applications. 19-25th September 2027 Selkie, Blue Embrace & Mara discount £1750 Certified Freedivers £1900 Non certified freedivers (to do Molchanov Wave 1 onboard) £2100

The gorgeous faces of Rewild and Free! A trip is made by the people on it. A beautiful moment of alchemy as a group chemistry is formed by the merging of everyone’s personalities. This year was so special. From deep chats, meditations, freediving to pirate parties, plank walking and impromptu dance offs, so many belly laughs and special moments were shared. We are missing you all already!
