Mornings and my ADHD brain… we have a complicated relationship. 😂

Some mornings I just need a little more time. Time to wake up, time to get moving, and time to acknowledge how I’m actually feeling instead of immediately expecting myself to GO.

And you know what? That’s okay. 💗

What about you? Are you a jump-out-of-bed person, a sleep-in person, or a “give me a minute” person? 😂

Tell me below 👇
Keep smiling! 💗✨

✨ One habit has helped me become more focused, happier, and more present.

For me, that habit is getting everything out of my head and into a system I trust.

I happen to use ChatGPT because I can talk through my thoughts, organize my day, break big projects into small, manageable steps, and celebrate the little wins along the way. As someone with ADHD, that has been a game changer.

But here’s what I really want you to hear…

It doesn’t have to be ChatGPT.

Maybe your system is a planner.
Maybe it’s a notebook.
Maybe it’s a calendar.
Maybe it’s another app.

The tool isn’t what creates the change.

The habit is. ❤️

When we stop trying to carry everything in our heads, we create space to be calmer, more focused, and more present with the people and moments that matter most.

💬 What’s one habit or tool that helps you stay focused or present? I’d love to hear what works for you!

✨ Small habits. Big changes. More happiness.

Here’s the truth…

Happiness isn’t something that just happens to us.

It’s something we choose.
Something we nurture.
Something we practice in small ways every single day.

Not because life is perfect.
But because we deserve moments that feel peaceful, meaningful, and real.

Sometimes we think happiness has to be this huge life-changing moment…

But often, it starts much smaller than that.

A deep breath.
A quiet morning.
A walk outside.
A smile you didn’t have to force.
A moment where you finally feel like yourself again.

Tiny choices.
Small shifts.
Little moments.

And slowly… they begin adding up to a happier, lighter YOU. 💜

That’s exactly why I’ve been creating something special for May 20.

Simple tools.
Real conversations.
Daily happiness practices.

Not pressure.
Not perfection.

Just a gentle way to reconnect with joy again.

If your heart has been needing that lately… stay close. ✨

Something beautiful is coming.

You can look happy…
and still feel lost inside. 💔

So many people are quietly carrying stress, overwhelm, exhaustion, and emotional heaviness while pretending they’re okay.

This is your reminder:
You don’t have to force positivity.
You need to feel your way back to yourself.

If this resonates, leave a 💛 or tell me:
Have you been feeling “off” lately too?

Have you ever felt like something is off…
but you can’t quite explain it?

Nothing is wrong exactly.
Your life looks good on paper.
But inside… something feels disconnected.

You’re going through the motions.
Smiling when you’re “supposed to.”
But it doesn’t feel as full as it used to.

That quiet feeling?
That’s not something to ignore…
it’s something to listen to. 🤍

Because sometimes the biggest shift starts
with simply noticing…

✨ There’s more for me than this.

If this spoke to you, follow along…
we’re just getting started 🤍

Keep smiling.

This video was taken in mid-December, just a week or two after I had skin cancer removed from my face.
If you look closely, you can still see the stitches… and the healing that was happening on the outside.

But what you can’t see as clearly is what was happening on the inside.

Even in the middle of fear, uncertainty, and recovery, I was choosing to stay connected to my heart.
I was letting myself rest.
I was letting myself heal.
And I was still feeling peace, hope, and even joy from the inside out.

The word cancer is scary. It shook me.
And at the same time, I knew this was just another chapter in my healing — just like the breakdown I had five and a half years ago that ended up changing my life in the most beautiful ways.

Healing takes time.
This will take time too — physically and emotionally.
But I’m still smiling in my heart.
I’m still choosing happiness.
I’m still believing that something good is unfolding.

That’s what this video is really about.

You don’t have to pretend everything is perfect to feel joy.
You don’t have to wait until you’re “all better” to feel okay.
You can be healing… and still be happy.
You can be going through something… and still feel light inside.

If you’re in a season of healing — physically, emotionally, or spiritually — I see you.
And I hope this reminds you that your joy is still there, quietly waiting for you, even now. 💛

Believe in yourself 💕
Remember, no one else sees your dreams and your potential quite like you do. It is that quiet, steady belief in yourself that will inspire others to believe in you too. So take that first step, speak up, and know that you have everything you need within you to make it happen. Embrace your power and watch yourself rise.

"Gratitude changes focus — not physiology." 🌿

You can be thankful and still exhausted.
You can love your life and still need rest.
And that doesn’t make you ungrateful — it makes you human.

Your body doesn’t respond to pressure — it responds to permission.
This week on The Better You Show, we’re talking about how to give yourself both.
