POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

18 years today.

And somehow… it’s raining again, just like it did on our wedding day. A beautiful reminder of the perfect day we tied the knot with that magical rainbow that appeared during the wedding photos.

I wouldn’t have changed a thing about that unforgettable day and this incredible life we’ve shared together so far.

And through all of the highs and lows, we’re constantly being upstaged by God’s incredible blessing and faithfulness over our life together. 🌈

18 years.
9 homes.
4 kids.
3 countries.
1 dog.
A million memories.
Infinite love.

From that rainy wedding car… to a rainbow over the reception… to the beautiful family we now get to call ours. What a journey it’s been @sarahkbuxton

And honestly, it still feels like we’re just getting started. Yewwwww to us ❤️🥂🎉

Time for a dad brag post 🥹..

Over the weekend I got all dressed up for a special night out with my eldest daughter, Elliana (who looked absolutely stunning), celebrating a cricket season that’s meant a lot.

At the Gold Coast Dolphins Cricket Club awards night, Elliana was recognised with the Coach’s Award for her Third Grade Open Premier Women’s team, a reflection not just of performance but of the way she’s shown up all year.

It’s been a season full of challenge and response from the team, and they came through it to finish as champions, winning the grand final. In that match, Elliana was also named MVP, a fitting acknowledgement of her impact when it mattered most.

Throughout the season she took on the challenging role opening batting, and did so with real intent, she stepped up as one of the first-change bowlers, and probably what stands out most is how much her fielding has grown, taking some outstanding catches and lifting her presence in the field.

Footy has already taken over the calendar, but it was good to pause and recognise what was a strong cricket season and a lot of hard work behind it.

More than anything, it’s the way she carries herself, the discipline, the consistency, and the way teammates and coaches respond to her, that makes us all so proud of her and nights like this meaningful.

Proud is an understatement, and quietly excited for whatever comes next.

Meet the Crew | IRAQ100
Charlie Buxton – Runner & Support Crew 🏃‍♂️

This one is extra special for me. My son Charlie spent the early years of his life in Iraq — he was just five when we left, and how cute are the photos of him living his best life in the mountains of Kurdistan!? Coming back now is both a reimagining of his childhood memories and a powerful rite of passage. On this trip, Charlie will be running alongside me a little over 10km each day, conquering a full marathon by the end of our four-day journey.

It’s a father-son adventure at such a pivotal time in his life, and I couldn’t be more proud. He’s fun, determined, and I know he’ll be an incredible teammate — both on the road and as part of our support crew.

Charlie’s goal is $5,000, and he needs your help to make it possible. Please get behind him, sponsor his campaign, and help us as a team reach our $100,000 goal for refugees.

Happy Birthday to my Sweetness! 🎉🎂

Even though I’m in Chiang Mai and she’s back home in Burleigh holding down the fort— you’re always in my heart 😘!!

This morning, I got to FaceTime my incredible wife as I walked the streets of Chiang Mai, while she was surrounded by love at home. And thanks to our awesome little crew, a top-secret strike mission ensured she got some special flowers and chocolates—just the ones she loves.

Sarah, your love, strength, and generosity hold our family together in ways that words can’t express. Today, we celebrate YOU. Love you always!

On Wednesday we snuck in a little free Yo-chi & watched the waves before hunkering down to ride out Cyclone Alfred 🌀 🙏

Seventeen years ago, in the freezing cold of NYC, in front of a church bell on Roosevelt Island—after an unforgettable night watching The Lion King on Broadway—I asked @sarahkbuxton to marry me. ❤️❄️

A few nights ago we celebrated that moment with a sunset picnic at Burleigh Heads, worlds away from that icy night but just as in love (and definitely much warmer!).

Grateful for every chapter we’ve written together and the many more to come. ✨ #EngagementAnniversary #FromNYCtoGC

Belated Birthday Post for Elliana! 🎉🎂🎈

A very belated but no less special birthday shoutout to my incredible daughter, Elliana, who turned 14 in absolute style! She and mom took on Auckland, soaking in four days of adventure, including a visit to the All Blacks Experience (which may or may not have had her considering a switch to rugby… for an ever so brief moment).

That is, until we did some quick calculations and realized that at her current size, she might be better suited to strategically evading bouncers rather than tackling giants. So, cricket it is! 🏏😆

The highlight? Celebrating her big day at Benson Boone’s concert at Spark Arena—because what’s better than watching your teenage crush backflip shirtless from the piano on stage while belting out your favourite song on your birthday?

Happy 14th, Elliana! You are loved beyond words! ❤️🎉

Elliana’s maiden half-century was a celebration of hard work, teamwork, and pure girl-power talent! 💪🏏

A huge shoutout to her amazing coaches and supportive friends for making this milestone even more special. Our fierce left-arm pace bowler turned heads with the bat after putting in the work over the holidays—and she absolutely owned it in a rare opportunity to open the batting for her club.

The result? A stunning 51 runs off 53 balls, setting her team up for the perfect start! 💥

Her teammates finished the job in style, and as the scoreboard shows, the all-girls Mudgie Marvels are quickly becoming the team to fear—even for the boys’ squads in the comp. Watch out lads! 👊✨

🎄✨ From our family to yours, Merry Christmas! 🎁

This year, we’ve witnessed the joy and beauty that come from acts of kindness and generosity. Today, as we splash around together in the pool, we reflect on the incredible privilege of sharing this joy with others who need it most.

This morning, our family had the honour of visiting a Christmas lunch for the homeless, sharing moments of connection and laughter, and seeing the light in the eyes of those receiving our Welcome Totes. These gift bags, filled with essentials and love, were handed to refugee and migrant families facing tough times here on the Gold Coast. Around the Christmas tree, surrounded by a room ready to welcome hundreds for a beautiful feast, we felt the true spirit of belonging—what Christmas is really all about.

Your generosity through our Give Belonging campaign has made all of this possible. Together, we’ve brought hope, joy, and belonging to so many who otherwise wouldn’t have a place to celebrate today.

As we look toward an exciting new year, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who journeyed with us this year—your support is transforming lives. Here’s to continuing this incredible mission of love, belonging, and joy in 2025!

💛 Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference. 💛

Yep— we’re one of “those” families 🎅🤶

It doesn’t help to be married to a New Yorker, who just loves getting (and everyone else… including Winnie 🐕) into the Christmas Spirit 🎄🗽

Thanks to @sarahkbuxton, we have a lot of fun things planned over the next two weeks reminding us of what brings us true joy deep down in our hearts!

All will be revealed… but here’s a hint— lots of laughter, generosity and over the top (some would say, ‘a little crazy’), extravagant love ❤️!!
