Over the break I’ve been spending a lot of time in thanksgiving! So many wonderful things have happened in such a short amount of time and all of it is worth celebrating!!!!!!!!! Eeeeep!!! I had to take a break from packing to post and give God glory! Just a few more DAYS till arrival day and I leave for TOUR! 🤭

I am so incredibly thankful for your unique hearts and how you love the Lord our God above all else. You’ve all shown me what it means to be a Godly woman. Cant wait for next year!! 😉

One of the most profound things this summer was not only in what we got to see God do through us, but also in what He was doing in us simultaneously. When you sign up to go and serve and pour yourself out for any period of time, it’s easy to kind of lose sight of the fact that God is still going to be ministering back to you throughout all of that. As it turns out, we’re not very good at “out-giving” God. And so as we went this summer, God was teaching us a great deal, specifically about partnership with Jesus.

In Genesis 2:4-7, God lays out His design for this partnership in the Earth:

“This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

The way God desires to accomplish His work and to bring forth His kingdom in the earth is not just simply through Him dropping rain from heaven, nor is it just simply for man to do it all for Him. It’s for partnership — God sends the rain to water and soften the ground, and we till the ground. This is where God’s kingdom is released into the earth.

We got to see this day after day this summer very practically. Time after time, we would ask Jesus what prayers He was already praying for a city, and then simply agree with those prayers. Later that day, we would see testimony after testimony of that exact thing we had prayed for! When we had flexibility in our schedule, we would ask God where to go and where the harvest was ripe. Several times, He would show us a specific location, address, or area, and as we went there, it seemed like everyone we talked to was ready to encounter Jesus!

It’s a lot better when we just come under His yoke with Him than when we try to carry our own for Him.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

11 healings!
16 freedom moments!!
242 PEOPLE HEARD THE GOSPEL!!

Vegas was absolutely wild. Evangelizing/praying in 115° weather is NOT for the weak. I didn’t entirely know what to expect evangelizing in Vegas, I had seen Vegas before, knew it’s rep, and I knew we would be encountering wild range of people!

Biggest takeaways!!
- I had the opportunity to evangelize to a few women working as strippers on the streets of Vegas. I got to talk with one girl in particular, was able to hear a little bit about her story, shared the gospel with her, and explained the cost of following Jesus, and got to witness her giver her life to Jesus right there on the streets at 11:30pm! THAT IS THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL!
- we were worshipping on the strip, just welcoming the presence of God in the middle of a street full of chaos late at night, when I looked over to see this couple with eyes of pure awe and wonder standing and staring at the band. I was able to talk with them, they had never heard the Gospel before, so I was able to share it with them and watch them give their lives to Jesus. Simply welcoming the presence of God draws people in, we don’t have to adjust our methods of evangelism and worship. The presence of God changes everything. All power is in Him.

This week was so insane. We had the opportunity to learn a lot about the history of Vegas and Gods original plan for the city.

LAS VEGAS IS CITY WERE BELIEVERS WILL COME AND BE REFRESHED!! SPRING UP A WELL JESUS!!

It’s wild to think that people traveled to Vegas to find satisfaction in anything they could, and ended up meeting Jesus. God is literally so cool.

Welp, that was week 9. We are enjoying debrief week, then I am back to school. Thank you Jesus for this life. And thank you Jesus that this is true love, and it exists far beyond in a van with 18 others!! I absolutely love this life I get to live with the Man who is love.

Off to Colorado Springs for debrief 🤸🏻‍♀️
