The Friendship Series. Episode 4.

Some friendships really do find their way back to you 💛

This one feels so special. A friendship reunited, between us as mums, and between our little ones too. Two mummies, two families, and a bond that picked up right where it left off like no time had passed at all.

It’s such a beautiful thing to share these moments together. Watching our children play and laugh side by side, just as we do. It reminds me that the very best friendships don’t need to be constant to be strong. They just need to be real.

So grateful to have this back, for me, and most of all, for my daughter. Some people are meant to be in your life ✨

Police displays, police cars, horses, the dog squad and two very excited boys who loved every minute.

We had such a fun Saturday at the Thames Valley Police open day with Sarah, Louis and Lily. Definitely doing this again next year.

Goodbye, August — My Heart’s Favourite Chapter

Goodbye, August. Soft, slow, sun‑warmed days that felt like they’d stretch on forever.

These were the days just for us: unrushed, unplanned, full of nothing but time. Morning cuddles that ran long, bare feet on grass, ice cream that melted faster than we could eat it. Chasing butterflies, picking blackberries, painting until the table was more colour than wood. Simple, quiet, perfect moments that wrap around my heart like a warm blanket.

Days spent laughing with friends, gathering with family, and watching my little girl shine, wild, free, and entirely herself. No alarms, no schedules, just us, making memories that stick like honey.

It was the sweetest, gentlest pause, a beautiful, breath‑holding space before the school bells ring and our routine shifts. Every quiet afternoon, every silly game, every sunset we watched together all of it, the simple things, the best things. I’ve tucked them safely away.

Thank you, August, for these precious days. For slowing down long enough to let me hold every second close. Goodbye, beautiful month, you’ll stay with me always.

A well spent day with friends @Sarah 💖 content creator.

We had a great day out exploring @Wellington Country Park.

So much to see, so much to do. Endless hours of fun for the children.

The day started off with a bit of rain but it didn’t take long for the sun to start shining.

All officially worn out, but totally worth it.

Early start at 5:30am dropping Daddy to work, then the loveliest day at that beautiful countryside play lounge in West Berkshire! 🌳✨

They’ve opened their garden for no-age-limit water play this summer – just support their lovely café in return. My girl and her friend (3 years apart!) played so well together… and she actually napped when we got home! That’s how much fun she had 😴

Plus I got baby snuggles and adult time – total win.
Check their page for summer holiday events!
Thank you @mum2louis01 for the best day 💛

Ten days old.

Still curled the way she was before the world had her. Still carrying that particular newness - the softness of her skin, the smallness of her hands, the way she fits so completely into the people who already love her most.

This is the version of her she'll never be again ✨

There is something about the first few days that feels unlike anything else.

Before the exhaustion has a name. Before she knows the shape of this new life quite yet. There is just this - the weight of her baby, the softness of her skin, the way her whole body already knows exactly how to hold her.

A mother meeting her daughter for the first time is one of the quietest, most overwhelming things I get to witness. The little forehead kisses that happen without thinking. The smiles that come from somewhere so deep they surprise even her.

These are the moments she will want to remember. Not the perfect ones. These ones.

For mothers who want to hold onto the very beginning - newborn sessions are available this summer in my Oxfordshire studio. Link in bio to enquire ✨
