Black Pride in the Park was a ball, and the Black queer and trans community brought THEE culture. 🖤

Well over 2,000 people came through our stage during our segment. We felt every one of you, and we're already cooking up something for 2027.

Thank you, Milwaukee, and thank you to every artist who shared their talent with us. Big love to Milwaukee Pride and the @grmkefdn for making this possible through the Reasons for Hope Grant.

From BPMKE, with love.

Sole Strut 2026 ❤️👟

This is what community, movement, purpose, and LOVE look like. Every smile, every dance, every mile, and every person who showed up reminded me why Sole Strut means so much to me.

What began as a way to honor my father has grown into something bigger—a movement to bring awareness to heart health, educate our community, celebrate life, and remind each other that EVERY STEP MATTERS. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who walked, danced, volunteered, supported, donated, shared, and simply showed up. You helped make the 4th Annual Sole Strut something I’ll never forget.

We’re not finished… we’re just getting started. 💪🏾❤️

Strut with purpose. Walk for your heart. Walk for someone you love.

BLK Girl Fest, you were something special!

As we reflect on this year’s BLK Girl Fest, our hearts are full of gratitude. What started as a vision to create a space where Black women could gather, connect, celebrate, heal and simply be became a beautiful experience because of the people who showed up and believed in the vision.

To our sponsors—thank you for investing in this experience and believing in the importance of creating spaces for Black women. Your support helped make this celebration possible.

To every attendee who purchased a ticket, walked through those doors, danced, laughed, connected, shopped, participated and shared your energy with us, THANK YOU. You are the heart of our community.

To our speakers, facilitators, performers, vendors, volunteers, partners, @bairdcenter and everyone who contributed their time, talents and gifts, we couldn’t have done this without you.

To our incredible BLK Girl Space community, thank you for continuing to trust us, grow with us and show up for what we’re building. Your presence reminds us why this work matters.

We are proud of what we created together, grateful for every moment and already dreaming about what’s next.

@blkgirlfest will be back and we can’t wait to do it all over again.

Until then, keep resting. Keep healing. Keep celebrating yourself and most importantly, keep showing up for one another.

BLK Girl Space is supporting black women to find happiness and becoming the healthier version of themselves whol-isically.

It’s (almost) two weeks later and I’m still on a high from Ladies Love Laces 3 🥰. Idk but I think this one might’ve been the best one yet! (in my opinion)
The energy, the vibes, the LOOKS! The ladies showed up & showed OUT! 😮‍💨 Everyone looked soooo good! 🤏🏽🤏🏽.

Since birthing @ladies_love_laces in 2023 to watching it grow (and continue to grow) into what it has today literally blows my mind! I never imagined that this would be where my long time love for sneakers would land me. That same love I get to share with like minded women in my city, that same love brings us together. Just, WOW!

Thank you @greyhousecreativemarket for opening up your doors and for holding space. Thank you to each of the vendors, each woman owned service utilized, the panelists, those who sponsored a ticket or a gift, everyone who helped play a part in making this happen & of course the ladies who showed and who continue to show up and support me. THANK YOU! I don’t do this for me, I do this for y’all 🫶🏽.

Until the next time 🤗👟
