On a personal note:
Back in July of this year I started my residency in the NICU. I had just moved to this new city I’d never been to and nervous for my first job as a doc.

And this NICU group made up of doctors, NPs, nurses, nutritionists, respiratory therapists, music therapists, social workers and more welcomed me with open arms, taught me SO much, and made this new place feel like home. (And possibly sparked my interest in a peds neuro sub-specialty 😉).

You never know how things will work out…but I feel so lucky to have met this beautiful group of incredibly smart and caring people. And to call them friends. Cheers to you all and cheers to the newly weds!!!!

July 3rd: the day I did all the things and saw all the people.

Natalie chocolate vine crown photo shoot. — moments before we were playing ring toss with it as we and our mom are are HEIGHT of maturity. LOOK HOW CUTE MY SISTER IS. Ugh!

A surprise visit from @spellmaggie — she peeped find my friends and saw me. So , I was able to squeeze in a quick play date with my nephew. 💖💖💖

🎵”No one knows what it’s likeeeeee.”🎵- Henry, when they had to leave. Haha. This cutie.

A stop to see @sarahwhen and catch up. The sun was too bright. SO BRIGHT. She introduced me to Aha + caffeine and my life will never be the same.

The stars aligned and I was able to see @saraperrin — I cannot tell you how much it meant that I could be there, even for such a short time, to see everyone and smile on such a hard day. I love you, Sara! I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer.

Not too long ago, I was able to harass/embarrass my boys — I mean, let @saraperrin go on a date with her man — and get in a nerf battle. #unicorn #nerfwar #thisiscle #happyincle
