THE ALPHA MERCY HISTORICAL CENTER in Kingston, Jamaica officially opened this week, inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Jamaica.

This four-year project was developed through Coen-Shabaka Design, our exhibition design practice: Nadia Coën & Sara Shabaka.

It has been deeply rewarding to work with the Sisters of Mercy of Jamaica to bring their remarkable history and ongoing work in education, healthcare, and social service into an experiential space.

If you happen to be in Kingston — join us for a private viewing and walkthrough this Saturday, August 22, 2–4 pm.

26 South Camp Road, Kingston. DM me to RSVP.

The food just keeps getting better! Had the opportunity to dine at the historic Devon House 🇯🇲 this evening. Vegetable Ratatouille, Scotch Bonnet Bone Marrow & Ackee and Cured Salmon Brochette - a little bit of heaven for this foodie!!
