A Summer in London 🍉

This summer, I decided I wasn’t going to leave the country and just keep my head down & work work work because that’s all I’ve had on my mind over the last few years.

But within that I found - like mum says, “there’s food at home!”, - that there’s actually an awful lot of love, fun and excitement at home too. I realised I often used travel as a means to escape my current reality and dive into a new world, in search for some perspective or meaning.

This summer, instead of running away and hoping for something to magically change overnight, I decided to pop the hood, poke around and see what’s really going on under there… I’ll honestly say it’s been the most fulfilling and grounding summer yet, one where I’ve felt more connected to myself than ever.

So here’s to my first summer entirely at home, thank you for allowing me to sit back and actually enjoy all that is this wonderful life 💞
