Yesterday, some of our Handy Bros. team had the privilege of visiting SARI Therapeutic Riding, an incredible organization in our local community dedicated to empowering individuals with special needs and disabilities through equine-assisted programs.

Seeing their impact firsthand was deeply inspiring, especially observing how their hands-on approach uses everything from grooming sessions that build fine motor skills to adaptive sensory reins and specialized grips that make these horses accessible to everyone.

The physical benefits are immediate, using the natural motion of the horse to improve core strength, balance, and coordination while unlocking a genuine sense of physical freedom. Beyond the physical impact, the emotional bond formed with the horses reduces anxiety, builds deep trust, and gives riders of all abilities a massive boost in confidence and independence.

We left SARI feeling so grateful for the essential work they do to enrich lives and foster inclusion, and we are excited to support their cause by participating in their upcoming auction in October!

A bit of a an edit. I was invited to photograph the SHOW ME YOUR STUFF friendly horse competition at SARI (Special Ability Riding Institute), Arva, Ontario, Canada last Sunday (June 7). I had a lot of fun, met a lot of great volunteers, and then there were horses. And cats …#saritherapeutic #saritherapeuticriding #horses @saritherapeutic
