The proces: my belt journey

⬜️ Felt in love with BJJ right away. When somebody swept me, passed my guard or tapt me out i was amazed how great and beatiful this art is.

🟦 My favourite belt. Where the most people quilt with BJJ because of the so called “blue belt blues” i never had that feeling one moment. In this periode of belt time i started training as much a i can and that resulted in losing less in competition and building a solid basic game. And started teaching what i love the most next to training🤩❤️

🟪 The belt where I achieved my personal competition goals. Winning IBJJF masters Euros and Worlds.

🟫 Time to build the academy and personal brand. Still competiting to stay uncomfartable, grow and win some.

⬛️?

What are my future goals in Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) you think?

#repost Mathieu Peters:

Last night was a special moment at Jiu Jitsu Factory Oss, as two of our members, Nik Demmers and Ben Peters, earned their Black Belt after an exhausting shark tank! We are incredibly proud of these men and their achievement. Earning a Black Belt in BJJ is not easy, but last night was also a personal highlight for me: I had the honor of awarding my own son his Black Belt. This is a very special event because the process of earning a BJJ Black Belt requires so much dedication and commitment. I am proud of my son and all the other Black Belts at Jiu Jitsu Factory.
