Some opportunities come into your life at exactly the right time, and becoming part of the Tarleton Transitions Mentor Program at Tarleton State University is one of those blessings for me. 💜🦆
College can be overwhelming, uncertain, and intimidating at times, which is why being able to help incoming students feel seen, welcomed, and supported means more to me than I can fully put into words. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to be part of something bigger than myself — an organization built on kindness, leadership, encouragement, and genuine connection.
It’s such an honor to pour into others the same support and comfort that once helped shape my own journey. I truly feel blessed to walk alongside such amazing people while helping create a place where students can feel at home, valued, and capable of succeeding.
I truly thank God for placing this opportunity in my life and for surrounding me with such inspiring people and a program built on kindness, leadership, and community. I could not be more thankful or honored to be part of something that makes such a genuine difference in students’ lives.

I want to thank all my baby ducks for making this an amazing duck camp! And to my partner @brooke.nevans for your guidance through this week!!

I love my Oscar P family!
