SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 💡

Next is senior Sara Schroeder, who will be graduating this spring with a BFA in Dance.

"My time with the SJSU dance program has been an amazing experience. I am thankful for the opportunities that I’ve experienced through UDT. I appreciate the love and motivation that my faculty has given me and for always pushing me to be my best. The dancers I have created bonds with have made my time so memorable here and they will always be family. We love to dance!!"

San Jose! 🌴🐈☀️

So grateful to have spent part of January (literally hopped on a plane the day after our APAP shows) in sunny San Jose making a new work for the incredible students at @dancesjsu

Big thanks to my old pal @chafinsey for inviting us to share our process and create with your fab students! The Bates Dance Festival family rolls deep!

These beauties jumped in full force into the intricate, repetitive and lightening quick world of our work and they are stunning y’all!!Devastated we won’t be able to see them perform “CHOIR” live in 2 weeks. If you’re in the Bay Area please please go see them for us!!!

Some moments from our time in the golden state - old pals, new dances, palm trees, sunshine galore, kitties, fun! This east coast girl fell in love! Take me back!
