Watching science turn into theatre felt surreal ✨ Sarvsaksham Theatre Society, GGDSD College, staged Galileo Galilei at the National Conference- 29th Punjab Science Congress on Feb 7, 2026, aligning with the theme of cutting-edge science and innovation. Seeing Galileo’s fight for truth portrayed live made the message even more powerful.

The performance blended art with scientific thought, reminding us how rational thinking still shapes progress. It was directed by Manpreet Singh and Rydhem Gagneja, written by Shivam Dhall.

The production was further strengthened by the musical compositions of Aashiv Vashisht, Harshit Bansal, Saksham Sharma, and Daksh Mehta, whose work enhanced the emotional and dramatic depth of the performance. The lighting design and execution were handled by Arpan Maity.

The cast included Tanmaydeep Singh, Khushi Sehgal, Khushi Verma, Preit Kumar, Parth Jasuja, Sukhdev Singh, Apaala Raj Negi, Namanpreet Kaur, Prakhar Tridhatri, Aarushi Chauhan, Vaibhav Aggarwal, Suhanit Kaur, Prakash Joshi, Saksham Sharma, Gauri Sharma, and Eishit Goel, whose dedication and artistic commitment contributed to the success of the presentation.

Moments like this show how student theatre can spark intellectual conversations beyond classrooms 💬 Would we attend more science-based plays like this? What’s our opinion?
