loved this post from @saschaolive - I will never shut up about the (widely documented) mind body connection 🌟 and it’s not witchy stuff, it’s science!

I think the placebo effect is one of the most fascinating things I’ve ever read about.

Not because I believe you can simply think your way into a different reality, but because there’s actual science showing that what we believe and expect can influence how our bodies respond.

HOUSE OF SCULPT × Alchemy by Charlotte

We spend so much of our lives doing. Moving, thinking, planning, producing, giving. Even the things we do to take care of ourselves can become another thing to achieve.
RECEIVE is an invitation to experience the other side of effort.
We’ll begin in the body with a HOUSE OF SCULPT Mat Pilates class — building heat, strength and connection through intentional movement and breath.

From there, we’ll begin to soften.

Led by Charlotte of Alchemy by Charlotte, we’ll move from movement into stillness with an immersive sound healing experience.
Beginning with a guided meditation, supported by crystal energy, you’ll be invited to turn your attention inward before surrendering to the vibrations and frequencies of crystal singing bowls. Infused with Reiki energy, the experience is designed to encourage deep relaxation, quieten the mind and allow the nervous system to settle.

With nothing to achieve and nowhere else to be, you’ll be guided away from doing and into simply being — creating space for rest, reconnection and receiving.

Seagull Room, Bondi Pavilion. 07/11 – 9am.

What if you could change over time?

Yeah, there’ll be hiccups and roadblocks along the way.
It’ll take time. Grit. And there’ll be some mental demons to fight.

But one day you’ll look back from somewhere high above your old self and realise…

“you are who you are because of who you were.”

So forget the outside noise.

It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to get lost.
It’s okay to mess it all up sometimes.

Time keeps moving forward.
Space never stands still.
Nothing and no one is perfect.

So just keep playing the game.

Keep changing.
Keep becoming.
