^^ These are the folks and families who showed up and made this house show happen. We knew we wanted to throw one to celebrate our new release ‘GAF’, because that’s what the song is all about. Showing up, spending time, sharing conversations, and making the effort with and for people. Thank you to those who came and sweated it out with us. No rain tho

⚠️ NEXT SHOW is at @wallerscoffeeshop for @lessalonefest THIS FRIDAY!! Less Alone Fest is a THREE DAY DIY punk music festival from October 2-4. Profits are going to the Waller’s rent fund, so they can continue to operate as a community space for all ages, accessible events.

OUR NEW SONG ‘GAF’ IS OUT NOW!

We need eachother. The pressures of life are intentionally designed to keep us separated and to keep us down. It is important now more than ever to know your neighbors and show up in your community. It is important now more than ever to GAF!!!!!!!

Thank you to @kevobeggo & @diamond_studios_lid for recording, mixing, and mastering this song for us.

Who’s on your dream bill?

For Part 3 of our Q&A with Wardrobe Malfunction, we asked Maggie, Griffin, Duncan and Wesley to pick three bands, living or dead, they’d want to share a stage with.

Four musicians, four very different dream lineups.

Wardrobe Malfunction’s Made 2 drops THIS FRIDAY!

What’s the record that changed everything for you?

For Part 2 of our Q&A with Atlanta’s Wardrobe Malfunction, we asked Maggie, Griffin, Duncan and Wesley which band or record had the biggest impact on their musical journey.

Four different answers and four little pieces of the musical DNA behind WM. From Yes and The Beatles to Lush and Cream, just a few of the incredible records that helped shape the band.

And while we’re talking music, the gang has something new coming August 28th! Right around the corner 👀

What’s the most underrated psych record every fan should hear?

We put the question to Wardrobe Malfunction.

Maggie Merrifield, Griffin Houck, Duncan Ward and Wesley Jensen each came back with a different answer, spanning jazz fusion, modern psych and a few records that deserve a hell of a lot more ears.

This is the first installment of our Q&A with the Atlanta psych/prog/fusion crew. More questions, recommendations and rabbit holes coming soon!

Meet Wardrobe Malfunction, an Atlanta band pulling from psych, prog, fusion and pop to create something distinctly their own.

The band first came into our orbit earlier this year with their album Hydroglyph, and what immediately caught our attention wasn’t just the music. It was the whole world surrounding it. The artwork, posters, influences and vibey spirit all feel like pieces of the same project, built by a group of friends who clearly care about what they’re making.

That conversation eventually turned into something new for Acid Reel too: our first proper collaboration with a contemporary psychedelic band.

Soon we'll be sharing pieces of a Q&A with Wesley Jensen, Maggie Merrifield, Griffin Houck and Duncan Ward, digging into the records that shaped them, the overlooked bands they think deserve more attention, the visual art they love, and plenty more.

For an account rooted pretty firmly in the psychedelic past, Wardrobe Malfunction feels like a damn good place to start exploring what’s happening right now.

Welcome to the Acid Reel family, WM🤘
