🚨 PLAYER OF THE YEAR 🚨

Debates are had every day about who the greatest in their respective sports are.

When talking about the St. Anthony girls’ basketball program, there is truly no debate to be had.

Nancy Ruholl proved to be the most impactful player on the court each time she stepped on it.

This past season, Ruholl scored 713 points and averaged 23.7 per game. She finished her career with 2,473 points, which is the school record for boys’ and girls’ basketball.

More than likely, that number won’t be touched for some time.

When Ruholl first started playing competitive basketball, she never thought she’d be the player she became.

All she wanted to do was play.

“I just loved the game from a very young age,” Ruholl said. “I always focused on the next practice or game to continue getting better.”

I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Spring Arbor University! The Lord has truly blessed me with wonderful people who have shaped me as a person and a basketball player. Thank you to my parents for cheering me on since I was 6 years old and playing Impact basketball. You have shown me how to work hard in my sport and for the Lord. Thank you to Coach Jon for developing my game and helping me achieve my dreams. Thank you to all of my teammates who have pushed me to be my best and helped me to truly love the game. Thank you to Coach Beach for staying late after so many practices so that I could get better. Thank you to Coach Williams and Coach Al for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity. Most of all, thank you Lord for all of the answered prayers, guidance, and peace as I searched for a college. I am blessed! Go cougs!! 💙💛
