Apart of my self care journey is #lovingme loving ALL of me. #lovingmefirst And even though, like right now, I may not be feeling my full fabulousness, I AM STILL FIERCE! I am not my pain, grief or sorrow. I can and will rise above it all. Gotta love the skin you’re in and be grateful and intentional about what you do, when you do and who you do it for.

When my shift came a few months ago, I started to be more intentional and purposeful in what I do and who I do it with and for.

Take care of you first, or no one else will. Keep fighting that good fight and all things will come together. If I hadnt gotten that shot, I don’t think that beautiful smile would have been on my face. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
Have a peaceful and wonderful evening/weekend. 🙏🏾 #fiftyplusandfabulous #greyhair fiftyplusselfie #fiftyplusselfcare #silverfox #greyandlovingit #feelinggreyt #saucysass #hearttoheartwithrosie #hearttoheart

2. My name is now legally Denali Joel A. Shaw. So put some respect on my name. 😎

Good morning my loves. I won’t write a speech about remember to go out and vote because I know, that you know that you should. But I wanted to just chat a lil about a “post election plan” As I was sitting here having my morning English ☕️ a question a friend asked me last night, popped into my head. She asked if I had a “post election plan”? Now, did I really think about the question? Maybe not, because my answer to her was, “no hon, other than to stay home” Now what I didn’t ask was, was she talking long term or just for after the elections. So I’m guessing the thought of it really hit and sunk in this morning. To be honest, I don’t have a plan. 🤷🏽‍♀️ At times I feel like I’m clueless. 🤦🏾‍♀️ No plan B,C,D or nothing!! I heard something last night while cooking up some wings in my lil #airfryer and they sounded like gun shots at first, but realized after looking out the window, some next door teenage boys were lighting up some fireworks. It had me on edge for a minute. I couldn’t go to sleep and was up for awhile thinking about today. Not only that, a school mate of mine that I went to school and church with had passed away and I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. She was even a couple years younger than me. So my night wasn’t one that I wanted. My question to you is, do YOU have a #postelectionplan ? Maybe I’m looking at it wrong, but I’m sure this can be another way to look at it. On that note. GET OUT THERE AND VOTE!!! ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 Kudos to everyone who@is involved on some level today at the polls and behind the scenes. God bless my coworkers who decided to help make a difference during this difficult and trying times. My hats off to you my coworkers and friends. #yougotthis #saucysass #travelingsaucysass #travelingrj My plan for today is to stay of #socialmedia and the news. I’ll get the updates later.
