Highland Classic | Hosted by Augustana College | Highland Springs

I wasn’t able to be there all day Saturday or Sunday, so here are a few clips from Saturday morning’s round. Hopefully next year I can make this a full event to cover!

Both the Augustana men’s and women’s teams can flat-out play golf. It was a ton of fun watching these athletes attack Highland Springs and see how they handled the course.

I will say, Highland has some tough greens, and that’s one way this course protects itself from these long hitters. Distance can get you close, but you still have to putt.

Drive for show, putt for dough.

Both Augustana Vikings teams finished first. The men tied UW–Eau Claire with a team score of 572, while the women finished with a total of 629.

Good luck to both teams the rest of the season!

C’mon!
