🧠 Why do we sometimes need doubters to discover our courage?

💬 Sometimes, the people who doubt us reveal something we haven't yet discovered in ourselves.

Saurabh was told nobody would show up. More than 100 people did.
Doubt can become fuel when we stop defending ourselves and start taking action.

Sometimes, proving yourself begins with refusing to prove anyone wrong.
The strongest belief is built by what you choose to do.

🔥 Comment "𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞" if you've ever turned doubt into action — I have something to share with you.

🧠 Why does the fear of losing money sometimes cost us more than the loss itself?

💬 Fear can make a small loss feel bigger than a missed opportunity.
Sometimes, we don't need more certainty—we need the courage to accept that growth comes with risk.

The fear we conquer today can become the freedom we live with tomorrow.

What we fear losing can sometimes be the very thing teaching us how to live.

🔥 Comment "𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞" if you've ever let the fear of losing something hold you back — I have something to share with you.

🧠 Why do we keep waiting for permission to begin the life we already know we want?

💬 Sometimes the biggest barrier isn't failure. It's waiting for certainty before taking the first step.

Saurabh's story reminded me that growth often begins before we know where the path will lead.

Courage is sometimes simply moving before you have all the answers.

The life you want may begin the moment you stop waiting for permission.

🔥 Comment "𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞" if you've been waiting for the right moment to start — I have something to share with you.

🧠 Why do we only believe something has value once someone pays for it?

💬 He didn't start walking strangers through a city to build a business. He started because he was new, and lonely in a way most people don't say out loud.

Somewhere along the way, someone told him what he gave away for free was worth paying for. When seventy people showed up and he found himself holding seven hundred dollars he never asked for, he didn't call it a win. He called it an accident.

Maybe worth was never something you prove. Maybe it's just what's left over after you gave something away without needing anything back.

Comment "𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞" if you've ever built something just to feel less alone, and it ended up giving you more than you expected — I have something to share with you.

Q1 of 2026 has been a busy one for me.

I’ll probably put out posts over the next week or so properly covering some of these, but looking back, I did a lot.

I spoke on a panel at TechHaus about AI alongside some incredible builders, then attended StartupHaus the week after and got to chat to a whole bunch of interesting people there too. (@livehaus.events Season 3 coming soon!)

And although I couldn’t attend because I was speaking at TechHaus, I helped organise an @acsofficial(Australian Computer Society) event with a resume and LinkedIn roast for NSW emerging professionals.

I also kicked off the @10x10gives Philanthropy volunteering program as Events Manager with our big NFP Shark Tank pitch night happening in June (let me know if you’d like to sponsor the event).

Somewhere in between all that, I also commenced my last year of university at @macquarieuni. As a mature age student too, which idk how to feel about that title.

I then crashed a MQ Uni Byte-Sized networking event. Not quite as an alumni like my @pwc_au peers, but still able to provide some insights about business and technology as this weird student/industry-rep hybrid.

I also finished my 100-day public speaking challenge on Instagram and started posting other content, before dropping off a bit once March hit and everything got very busy. Which, based on the above, makes sense.

And finally, been picking my running back up again with the aim of doing an unofficial half-marathon by the halfway point of the year.

(All of this on top of my job as a cybersecurity consultant).

A lot of trying to balance work, study, content, speaking, volunteering, and not losing my mind.

Very full quarter. Very grateful. Slightly tired.

On to Q2 2026.

Edit: After writing the intial draft of this, I keep on remembering extra cool stuff that I’ve done with a Build Your Life’s Work by @notionhq, visit to the @linkedin office, and went to @domefest (podcast fan festival). Too much happened!

Happy LOVE Day everyone! ❤ Four years ago this month, @joramvanderstarre and I launched our very first Stories that Stir event.

Six ordinary yet extraordinary people shared their raw and personal stories linked to the theme LOVE, in all its shapes and forms!

We chose LOVE as our first theme because Stories that Stir is about providing a space where people can leave their busy lives, worries and judgements at the door, and bring themselves back to LOVE, by listening to people share their truth, without seeing them as a problem that needs fixing.

70 events,10+ locations and 2500+ beautiful souls in our community later, we are as committed as ever to our purpose.

I absolutely LOVE producing and hosting Stories that Stir events.

Our next event is this Tuesday 17th Feb in Sydney's CBD from
6-9pm, and the theme is BEGINNINGS.

So grateful to have Rowena Robinson Bashir Youssef Victor Simone Duplat Saurabh Kaura, Caroline Hey, and Toby Leider on the line up.

We can't wait to experience the magic with you! 🌟⭐✨
