Yesterday was Papi’s birthday! @manuel.barreras.56 has been by my side for 6 years now through a lot of good times surrounding our passion for off-road and racing! Thank you for the friendship and being like a second father Papi! I know we spoke on the phone yesterday but I felt like a hard post was in order this morning as we head out to go racing without you since you’re spending time with the family down south! Everyone who enjoys Papi’s company from near or far please write a memory with him or what comes to mind you want to share for his birthday! 🙏🏻

Guess this didn’t post on Sunday… shortly after the @mojaveoffroad race at @glenhelenraceway we loaded up said our goodbyes to some people and proceeded to come home and unload, organize, clean and tear into the Mako Shark 🦈 full race recap coming soon with a YouTube video on the @shreddy.lyfe channel thanks to @matthews_media__ however this was a bitter sweet race. Competition was stacked and some of the best high pace door to door racing of the weekend between the 32 cars who showed up. Unfortunately a massive rock got moved into the course on the high speed dog leg on the back straight was unavoidable when coming through the section that blew my wheel apart. Such a heartbreak however the memories and times that were had with my racing family are the best times. @savagefiehler did her thing as a co-driver and kept us fed. @manuel.barreras.56 helped me keep the car in tip top shape. @kingshocks were on point. @slettenengineering engine was ripping all while the @empi_inc parts were proven to take a harsh beating that fathoms me on how they continue to survive! Thank you to the MORE staff and volunteers who allow us to do what we enjoy, friends that stopped by to hang and chat and my partners who make it all possible to continue to run at the front! @shreddy.lyfe @xcomp_tires @empi_inc @heatwavevisual @kmcwheels @pedalcommander @aaronfordofpoway @bajadesigns @fullthrottlebattery @drt.motorsports @prpseats @boxousadirect @ruggedradios @kingshocks @camburgracing @magnaflow @hptuners @mobarmor @fractaltrailers @superwinchofficial @westinautomotive @magnusonsuperchargers @tgthegym @horsepower_church @maximausa @buggywhipinc @kevinqms @hairpin_footwear @dynamic_motorsports @rcvperformance @fiberwerx @wilwooddiscbrakes @fkrodends @vpracingfuels @dunehoon @swiftpowder @ims_metals @impactbymcs @aeromotive @eibach_world @switch.pros.official @redheadvalves @richmondgear @evan_weller_racing @sdgshocks @howeperformance

Qualifying is in the books hear at the @empi_inc Glen Helen @mojaveoffroad race. Made a couple minor mistakes pushing to hard that ended me up in 4th. Means I’m second row on the inside line in a stacked feild of 32 cars. Congrats @colwhitt on the top qualifier spot you’re the man 🤙🏻 1:30pm we go live on the @shreddy.lyfe YouTube if you want to tune in to watch the Race thanks to @racingshow.live Vid cred @matthews_media__ 🤙🏻
