May was really that month! Did couple brave things! And one of those things was hosting our Third Savannah Creative Night!🤩. It was surprisingly filled with so many new faces and a long overdue reunion with our amazing community after long months of no Cine Club! No thanks to the ups & down of pregnancy🤰🏽.

It was a special one as I got to personally screen for the first time a short film I co-directed in 2023. And we closed the evening with a moving flute🪈 offering from @longexhales Asante Sana to everyone who made it such a beautiful night. Looking forward to the next one!

Rooftop with a view.👁️

Speaking of which👇

Following the success of our first screenings on our rooftop last year, @savannah_creatives cozy film evenings are returning this year, inviting you once again to unwind, connect, and enjoy good cinema together, and for the very first time, meet with some of our movie directors.

For this first edition of 2026, we’ll be presenting a special short film selection from across the continent, in collaboration with good friends from Nigeria🇳🇬.

👀 For the most curious among you, the full line up will be unveiled as we get closer to the event.

The evening begins with a sundowner from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, followed by the movie screening and open conversation.

As always, it’s free and open to all, so bring your friends, partners, a blanket for comfort, as well as your favourite drink or snack to share!🍷

The beautiful @bibicentric’s performance was one for the record books.

With her charm and sass, she kept us singing along with her.

We definitely enjoyed every bit of her performance.
