My Charleston visit was one big montage of me doing fun book things, hanging with lovely friends, eating lovely food, and yelling I’M SO CHARMED at the sky. Thank you SO much to @charlestonlibrarysociety for having me and for the incredible tour (can you believe they gave me that fancy red car as a welcome gift?!?), and to @kathrynbudig for being a true superstar of a conversation partner, and to my lifelong bestie/anam cara @justine.buckley for the most gorgeous introduction ever. (Fun fact: I’m officiating her wedding this fall so now I have to figure out how I’m going to follow that speech, NO PRESSURE.)

I also got to sign some books at @ladybirdbooks_chs, @sweeterthanfictionbookshop, and @buxtonbooks_chs! And then Charleston tried to keep me in town by delaying my flight by nine hours and let me tell you, it was tempting.

Next up (by which I mean now, because I took so long posting this) is Nashville! See you tonight @novelettebooksellers!

It is the end of an era — yesterday was my last day of work at The Wedding Studio. Could not be more thankful for all of the wonderful memories with some of my favorite people in the world. It’s been a great 5 years. I love you guys 🥹🤍
