Yesterday was special!

I had the honor of performing saxophone during cocktail hour for two great friends as they celebrated their wedding day. It was also special seeing the engagement photos I captured for them displayed throughout the venue.

Being able to celebrate their love story through both photography and music was truly a full-circle moment and a reminder of why I love what I do.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, and thank you for allowing me to be part of such an unforgettable day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness. 🎷📸❤️

DNF.

Three letters meaning “Did Not Finish”. Three letters I never thought would be part of my running journey, but there they were.

The Atlanta Publix Half-Marathon didn’t go the way I imagined. At mile 9, I had to listen to my body and step off the course. Not the finish I trained for, but moments like this are part of the process. Running has a way of humbling you just as quickly as it builds you up.

Every race may not end at the finish line, but every mile still carries a lesson.

Grateful for the opportunity to run. Grateful for the joy this journey has brought me. And grateful for the lessons that come along the way.

Moments like this remind me why I started back running.

We learn. We adjust. We come back stronger. Ball up top.
