Big weekend of celebrations

Sav I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve overcome this past year, you stayed as positive as you could even when it would’ve been easy not to and are an inspiration to all, especially me, I can’t wait to watch you continue doing what you love ❤️

A late goal in the 96th minute spoiled an emotional day for Louisville Racing FC resulting in a 1-1 draw with Utah Royals FC. Despite conceding the goal in extra time, for the home crowd nothing could take away the joy of seeing Savannah DeMelo return to the pitch a little over a year since she last played for the club.

What an inspiring story 🥹💚

Racing Louisville's Savannah DeMelo suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch last September. Yesterday, just over a year later, she made her return to the pitch 💪❤️

So good to see you healthy and back on the pitch, Savannah! 🫶
