Disney has been making some major moves lately 😳‼️ They just hired Nike veteran Ron Faris as their new Senior Vice President of Consumer Products Marketing 📈 Faris is largely responsible for Nike’s success behind SNKRS, scaling it from $60M to over $1B in four years. Most recently he served as Global Vice President of the “.SWOOSH” brand 🐐 He will now be helping Disney expand its consumer products business on a global scale 🌎 🔗 More info link in bio photos from @staygroundeadcom @savefaris dm for credit or removal

The low poly saga ❤️💚💛…🖤 What a wild ride. We took the opportunity to build and launch footwear with the goal of reigniting the fire, in a thoughtful, intentional, and a never before done manner…be it for Nike or .SWOOSH in the product, the marketing, and/or the launch. Proud of the team for coming together to pull off an incredible humgochungo concept (IG capped my tags and caption 🫠). A beautiful 7 month story. Before I dive in, gotta admit…posting this the morning after the Air Max Day launch feels strange. Like posting a crazy night out while hungover at brunch the next day… Anyways, the AM1 Low Poly Red needs no introduction. I wrote a Charles Dickens level novel last time, peep my old post. But that was the genesis. We then took it one step further with the Air Max 1 Low Poly Adventure. An homage to one of most iconic games and cheat code Easter eggs, all wrapped into a puzzle mini-game experience to honor the product story. This was for the heads. The IYKYK. Then Big Head Origins, where do I begin...The intentional planning and brainstorming to breathe new life into an already incredible set of executions. Battling the ocean to orchestrate and time the best journey. Creative reviews on creative reviews on creative reviews. Last minute creative problem solving to ensure a successful Air Max Day takeover. Team poured our blood, sweat, and tears. The ultimate cheat code origins story imagined into hairy suede, a yellow midsole, and an inflated tongue you’ve never seen before - all culminating into… • An unexpected leak that got the community going bananas • A @baitme launch to officially kick it off with a banana food truck, palm trees, big head camera booth - the perfect storytelling • Followed by a wild campaign video combining the lore of iconic games • A launch in @fortnite kicks to give the gamers first access • Air Max day takeover - US SNKRS launch, @patta_nl launch with an FD IG takeover, and a return of OG Low Poly with surprise and delights at LA’s Complex Pop-up • Europe release coming soon Incredible moments for the community, gamers, .SWOOSH, and a journey that I couldn’t be more proud of. We got one more surprise left 😉🖤

I’m so proud of you, @bobbyhundreds. It hasn’t always been easy, but look at all you’ve accomplished. So thankful I get to call you one of my best friends and you listen to my 5 minutes voicenotes even when you’re writing a book. NFTS ARE A SCAM // NFTS ARE THE FUTURE is out NOW. Even if you’re not into NFTs, I know this book will leave us all inspired— because that’s what Bobby does. 📖
