POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some extracts and images of something I wrote to accompany my work, Where In Lies The Truth @dresspoetics @always__tmrw which I read at the opening. Thanks to everyone who came and listened! It was really special to partly explain my quite random connection to Detroit - thanks to @dresspoetics and @always__tmrw for including me and encouraging me to write something! I’ve always found writing and reading quite difficult but I also really enjoy storytelling and have the urge to include it in my work more and more 💕💕💕

Thank you, Isabella @v.m0iist, @thejamhandy, Detroit, for having me, us. Tornado warnings, motion sickness, power outages, hours spent in bars and coffee shops, and places that could have been movie sets. Sculptures hidden in the weeds, dresses lining up @madeleinefamurewa, for bringing a poem to every city in which we meet. @jonathan.penca, becoming a lizard inside a tower-dress.

Step into a space where history and art meet in the heart of Little Village.

@ALEOdetroit is a boutique bed & breakfast set within the transformed rectory of the Shepherd. Thoughtfully designed rooms, crisp linens, garden views, and warm, service create an atmosphere made for rest and reflection.

I’m back home but reminiscing the French experience by not drinking water and changing my outfit once the light hits “bonsoir” territory
