✨🪩Hairspray 2026🪩✨

First show of senior year complete and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. Hairspray has been one of my dream shows ever since I first watched the movie as a little kid, and throwing myself back into the community theatre ring after 3 years was a little daunting, but all these wonderful people welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so loved! I’m truly in awe of the amount of talent that comes from everybody in this cast, and I’m so grateful I got to share the stage with some of my closest friends (new and old!) As I close this chapter, I want to thank everyone who made this show possible, I’ll always keep the laughs and memories and the love of this production close to me, and thank you for reminding me of why I do what I do putting the joy of theatre back into my life.💗💗

hairspray is my favorite pied piper show i have ever had the honor to be apart of. i will admit, at first when i got the role of edna i was a little bit pessimistic but i would be lying if i said i didn’t have an absolute blast in this role. playing edna was one of the most magical experiences of not just my theatre career so far, but my life in general. everything from the costumes, to the dances, to the songs was just perfect for me and i can say with about 99% confidence right now that this is my favorite role i have ever had the privilege of getting to portray. i am so incredibly sad it is over but am so glad i made so many memories along the way and got to drop it down each night 😝 #hairspray #theatre #ednaturnblad #welcometothe60’s
