ITS ALWAYS A PARTY One thing I will say about an AHE wedding is that it is always a bloody good party! And to be honest that’s generally the brief I get from all my clients. They want to say the words, make it official and then they want their guests to leave thinking that was the best night ever. I say that when it comes to weddings, it’s got to be like a crescendo. It starts off slow and slowly builds up momentum from ceremony to cocktail hour to the dance floor so you end the night on a high. We do this by wicked entertainment but also very carefully curated timings. This way, all of the vendors can work up to that 9 o’clock mark where everyone lets their hair down. The speeches are done, the formalities are over, the champagne has been flowing and the dance floor is calling. The lighting changes, the music gets louder and suddenly your wedding shifts from celebration to party. Because while beautiful flowers, stunning tables and incredible styling are important, nobody talks about the napkin fold ten years later. They talk about the dance floor that was packed all night, the song that everyone sang at the top of their lungs and the feeling that nobody wanted the night to end. And if your guests wake up the next morning a little tired, slightly hoarse and saying, “That was one hell of a wedding,” then we’ve done our job. . . #perthweddingplanner #perthweddingstylist #perthweddings #perthbride #perthlife

I surprised my husband and our parents with their wedding videos projected at our wedding 🥹 I sourced old cassettes and created montages of special moments in our life. Every projection and song throughout the night was carefully curated to be deeply personal, emotional and beautiful. Our wedding was not only a celebration of Adam and l, but a celebration of our histories and families 🤍💫 The pure love, emotion and nostalgia was felt by anyone who entered that room.
