🧡 A MEAL PAID FORWARD 🧡
This is what love, family and support look like. ❤️
A special thank you to my sister-in-law, April Chisom, who supported Uncle Vic’s Kitchen by purchasing a Soul Food Sunday meal — and then asked us to donate her meal to someone else. 🙏🏾
Now we need YOUR help choosing someone to bless!
Do you know someone who is always pouring into others? Someone who could use a little encouragement, a helping hand, or simply deserves to have Sunday dinner taken care of?
🧡 NOMINATE SOMEONE TO RECEIVE THE PREPAID MEAL!
👇🏾 Drop their name in the comments and briefly tell us why you’re nominating them.
Prefer to keep your nomination private?
📲 Text us at 770-896-5624.
We’ll select one person to receive the meal this Sunday, August 16.
No purchase necessary — this meal has already been paid forward with love. ❤️
Thank you, April, for believing in Uncle Vic’s Kitchen and choosing to turn your support into a blessing for someone else.
Let’s keep the love going! 🧡

Every great journey starts with one step... 🍽️.
For years, family, friends, and especially my wife have been telling me, “Vic, it’s time.” They believed in my cooking long before I believed this dream could become a business.
Today, I’m excited to officially introduce Uncle Vic’s Kitchen.
We’re here to create unforgettable culinary experiences—from private dinners and celebrations to catering, pop-ups, and special events. Whether you’re craving Caribbean flavors, comfort food, seafood, lasagna, or something made just for your occasion, we’ll bring the food, the flavor, and the good vibes.
This is only the beginning, and I’m grateful to everyone who’s encouraged me to take this leap. Thank you for believing in me.
If you’re looking for someone to make your next event memorable, send us a DM to book your experience. We’ll be in touch with you personally.
Here’s to new beginnings...
Welcome to Uncle Vic’s Kitchen. ❤️
✨ Good Food. Good People. Good Vibes.

Some moments just feel bigger than business… they feel like family. 💛
Monday was closing day, and it was such a special full-circle moment for me.
I started doing Ebony’s hair when she was in the 3rd grade, and her mother trusted me with her from the very beginning. I’ve also had the privilege of doing her mom’s hair as well. They have both been loyal clients of Shyne Hair Lounge for over 18 years, and over time they became so much more than clients — they became family.
Somewhere along the journey Ebony started calling me her Godmother, and that title has always meant so much to me. I’ve watched her grow from a little girl sitting in my salon chair to celebrating milestones like her high school graduation, going on to study criminal justice, and now proudly serving in law enforcement.
Ebony is a motivated, driven young woman with real tenacity, and I’m constantly proud of her. Shout out to her amazing parents for raising such a beautiful person inside and out.
For years I’ve had the honor of serving this family through beauty at Shyne Hair Lounge, and Monday I had the privilege of serving Ebony through homeownership.
Moments like this remind me why I love what I do — building relationships that last a lifetime.
Ebony, I’m so proud of you and excited for everything life has ahead for you and the many blessings to come.
From the salon chair to the closing table… this one means a lot. 🏡✨

Testimony Tuesday ✨
In this season, discernment is everything. Every challenge isn’t an attack — some are assignments meant to stretch you, not break you. Pay attention to what brings peace vs. confusion. Protect your purpose, guard your spirit, and trust what God is revealing.
