I’ve spent a long time building my body.
Now I’m building something bigger.

Running started as something I did.
Somewhere along the way, it became part of who I am, what I create and the community growing around it.

Running 101 started with a whiteboard, a camera and an idea.

Now I want to see how far we can take it.

🏠 Two Houses 🏠

Twee huizen, twee ouders, twee slaapkamers en twee verjaardagen. Dit nummer laat de beleving van een kind met gescheiden ouders heel mooi tot zijn recht komen.

Met deze reden heeft @lucy.hanschke samen met haar zusje @dahliahanschke, ouders en de dansers van Explore Dance Collective een beed toegevoegd aan dit prachtige nummer van @bowanderson 🫶🏻

Tegenwoordig is er ook een stichting die zich inzet voor kinderen met gescheiden ouders: @villa_pinedo. Mocht je hier meer over willen weten check vooral hun socials!

Iedereen die hier aan heeft meegewerkt super veel dank om dit idee werkelijkheid te maken 🙌🏻

Quarterfinals recap ✅🌍🔥

After 3 weeks of the CrossFit Open online @crossfitgames, I qualified for the Quarterfinals and I did mine at @crossfitfibonacci in Mexico 🇲🇽

Last weekend I did all the workouts… without knowing what they were beforehand (you receive them just before the competition). That’s the fun (and the chaos) of CrossFit competitions.. Hoping a heavy oly lift will show up, but it didn’t. But that’s CrossFit: Being prepared for the unknown (always!). 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m super grateful for @luisperez_fibonacci & @patricijagraziosi for helping me get every workout done on time, filming everything and pushing me to get the absolute best out of myself 🙏🏼🎥

Results (unofficially):
🌍 2664th worldwide
🇪🇺 564th in Europe
🇳🇱 36th in the Netherlands

This is my best Open and my best Quarterfinals score so far. And that’s extra special because I haven’t been fully focused on CrossFit this past year but also weightlifting.

I didn’t make it to Semifinals (top 2000 move on), which wasn’t the expectation… but I came closer than I thought! Now I know exactly what to work on next. 🤸🏼‍♂️ Maybe in 2027?

Big wins for me:
✨ 13 strict handstand push-ups at the end of the workout (I literally couldn’t do one before)
🔥 My best score was on a burpee workout… which is honestly a plot twist for me as a giant 😅

I’m proud of what my body can do, even with traveling, living life, dancing and doing all the fun things in between. Balance + performance. That’s the goal. 🌴
