I don’t often have much time to sit back and reflect on the present, and when I do it’s usually weighed on by stress about what’s to come.

Prepping the green room while balancing deadlines for work outside the studio was one of the most exhausting weeks of my life, and also one of the most rewarding.

A few people thought dedicating time to film would take away from music. I trusted my gut, and that decision gave me even more time for music, while creating art that supports my goals financially.

This album’s been in the works for over a year, and I’m glad we took our time with it, because the lessons I’ve learnt along the way became too important for me not to share.

In this album you’ll see my disgustingly lowest lows, insecurities and doubts that no rapper would ever articulate in a song. Flaws nobody wants to face. And all the intoxicating highs. Everybody hates an asshole. But no matter how perfect you think you are, I promise you’ve been an asshole to somebody before.

In a world where nobody wants to think and we all just want to numb out and scroll, I’ve curated this project to help you think and feel less alone in the thoughts you don’t want to say out loud.

Thank God for allowing me to create, heal and share my story. Thank you to everybody who’s believed in me and helped me get to this position, and to those I’ve missed I’m so sorry you’re just as important my brain is just fried: @valentistudios @saylesskam @ethanparodi @navsrevenge @chandlerjewels @styx506 @wydbrandon @kaileokai @nickwop @musibledistribution @ezink.co @liamvanbiljon @baileyjack_ @zainwasnthere @deeansjournal @adezzii @ccarllouis @callmecg @fuckhemi @lyfejune @aywy_ @melloo @jordayung @_kotakaan
