As a #blackwoman who comes from a long line of strong #blackcreatives I’ve always struggled with being seen as one... an #artist a #photographer and #painter but when I needed a reminder of who I am and where I come from and what I’m capable of... black woman would show up in my life and shine a little light on me. These are from a #series I didn’t even realize was one until now. I have more #amazing black woman I want to photograph who have lifted me up 🖤 Thank you all for seeing me and letting me see you!!

Who is In New York, or in the New York area? I know there are few events going on this weekend, and I'm trying my best to come out and meet up with a few minds, and vibe. But if you are going to be in the area, check out @anewyorkbrit for an Art exhibit and music in Rockaway, New York at Sayras Wine Club on June 28th contact @exorbotantmind or @anewyorkbrit or myself for more information, hope to see you all there!
